I like the fast 16x16 grid and int("JJ thing. That'll be helpful for the game I'm considering doing, though I don't wanna say anything about it yet.

General Calculator Help / Re: My calc mess up horizontal lines« on: April 14, 2011, 05:38:18 am »
So your graph screen is offset by a few coordinates, right? I presume that's why the line is messing up.
This has happened to me a few times, I set the Xmin to 0, but the left side of the screen is like -10. I think RAM Clearing could fix this, but I'm not sure... 514
Correlation / Re: Correlation Beta Bug Reports« on: April 13, 2011, 08:30:25 pm »
So I switched the started token to Radian and it seems to work, except for the flipping, which happens when I have the font both archived and unarchived.

So I'm trying to make a 16x16 font to start testing animated tiles with, but the font I get is just weird. It offsets the sprite, so it doesn't show up correctly, instead it essentially swaps the two halves of the sprite. Also, I tried to make a simple animation program with the odd font, but nothing seemed to happen. The sprite doesn't seem to change frames. Am I doing something wrong, or would this be another bug?
Also, my font starts with A. 516

I've been watching and reading a lot of Death Note recently, and I realized how much I love L, with his awesome intelligence and all his quirks, so he's my avatar now.

Other Calculators / Re: Ti Nspire for sale« on: April 13, 2011, 04:13:05 pm »Actually, you'd have to make a program with the following code:waouh!! that's awesome!!!!!! I'll try it when I'll receive my keyboard Code: [Select] :AsmPrgm Then you could run Asm(progname) to set the lowercase flag. Asm() doesn't let you run hex code directly, otherwise that would help BASIC programmers, and TI would never do that... 518

Other Calc-Related Projects and Ideas / Re: A real Community Project« on: April 11, 2011, 06:26:57 pm »I like the Net idea, so you're basically talking a server with gCn support, but with other features to host specific progs?I kinda meant a gCn server that would stream map data to a calc depending on the appropriate Net area you where in, with the ability to navigate the 'Net' with your NetNavi (just a glorified program, really, but kinda a virtual extension of the user) and the ability to fight viruses and other Navis, as well as by chips and programs to improve your Navi, like the Battle Network games, but more of an open world not really centered around one character. 520

I think it's an interesting idea, it would be neat to see what everyone else thinks.
Also, an idea I think would fit this rather well would be a PET/NetNavi system that could possibly integrate with gCn to have an environment like what the Net is supposed to be in the Battle Network games, but for calculators instead. Because a Net large enough for the community would be a massive undertaking. But that's just my two cents. 521
Computer Projects and Ideas / Re: Trio and Niko: Falling« on: April 09, 2011, 07:25:38 pm »Thanks for all support so far everyone . I've seen at least 10 people wearing the support userbar in their signatures, and this very thread now gets around 100 views a day, even during days with no posts . Thanks again for all those who want to see this awesome game come to fruition, you're just as awesomeThe traffic is probably because this game sounds so awesome! And any update is important, if it brings the program closer to completion. 522
General Discussion / Re: What are you listening to right now?« on: April 08, 2011, 06:45:14 pm »
Stratovarius, mainly The Game Never Ends and Eagleheart, though I like Legions as well.
I'm also listening to some of DJ's stuff, like Return from the Forbidden Lands. I also have the soundtracks for Touhou 6, 7, 7.5, 8, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11, and 12, 12.3, 12.5, 12.8 on my iPod and I listen to that too. 523

TI Z80 / Re: zStart - an app that runs on ram clears« on: April 05, 2011, 02:59:30 pm »Hmm, the font set didn't work on Wabbit it seems to be shifted left a pixel.... I will try it again to see if I screwed up anythingI had an issue like this in school today. After much scrambling and trying things, the workaround I've found for now is to create a new font set, set it and turn it on, exit zStart, delete the font set, open zStart again, go to the font menu and set your original font set. It's kinda a pain to do, and I still haven't figured out if anything in particular seems to trigger it... |
