then let them get more pissed, ignore them  I got 50 posts my first day, it's not an astounding number to get if you really do wanna be part of the community.
That's a good point, but people may have limited computer time, and may want to get on Omnom, but it takes them a while because they only have limited computer access time. Of course, they could use #omnimaga on EFNet, so I guess it's kinda a moot point.

I think I am doing Pokemon.
The biggest problem is sprites 
Lol. I had the idea to do the Pokemon TCG as well. I've made the first 21 card sprites already, actually.

anyways, I think I will do a style similar to Yugioh: Reshef of destruction.
If i am capable of doing all the sprites, I am going to have normal and multiplayer.
My biggest concern is the amount of memory sprites are going to take.
I am only going to use the original 151 Pokemon.
I am not sure weather I should use 16 by 16 sprites monochrome, 16 by 16 sprites in 4 lvl gray, or 32 by 32 sprites.
I dunno if I'm entering for sure yet, but I have definitely started spriting and creating some mock-ups. If I do decide to enter, I'll create a topic over on UTI and post some mock-ups and stuff, as per the rules.

Oh oh oh, I don't know if anyone knows this, but on the 84+SE at least, if you go to New Program and type in the name of an existing, editable program, it opens up that program in the editor instantly

are they going to have 4th and 5th generation chapters? That would be cool, though I can't stand the idea of having like 800 different pokemon. Soon the pokedex will turn into a dictionary.
There's already Diamond/Pearl and Platinum and HeartGold/SoulSilver Chapters, and I believe that the Black and White Chapter just started.

Yep. As far as I can tell, only a handful of the Chapters exclude previous main characters, the one that pops into my head is the Ruby and Sapphire Chapter. Of course, everyone comes back for the Emerald Chapter, so yeah. I'm not sure about Diamond and Pearl or Platinum, though. And I really know nothing about the Black and White and HeartGold and SoulSilver Chapters.

I see, thanks for the info. I hope they are a bit more original than the anime. X.x The team rocket appearing in every episode got old after a while...
Team Rocket's a lot better in the manga. Actually, 4 of the gym leaders are Team Rocket's executives, although one defects. Plus, there's no Jessie and James, which removes most of the stupidity. Team Rocket isn't the only antagonistic party, though. In the Yellow Chapter, the Elite Four are the antagonists, and in the Gold/Silver/Crystal Chapter, there's Neo Team Rocket, which is a resurrected Team Rocket not under Giovanni's leadership. Can the mangas be read online? Or do you have to pay for the books?
I've been reading it online, though I intend on buying the books eventually.

Nope, the stories are completely different. Some things happen in the manga that would never happen in the games or anime, such as Pika (Red's Pikachu) learning how to surf by using Substitute, then having the substitute take the form of surfboard. Can the mangas be read online? Or do you have to pay for the books?
I've been reading it online, though I intend on buying the books eventually.

This is the best part of Pokemon: the manga. Especially Pokemon Adventures! (Also called Pokemon Special). Some of my favorite characters are:   Red Gold   Green Yellow Does anyone else read this manga? I just reached the Gold and Silver chapter myself.

Hmm, I know OOo supports .pptx and lets you convert back and forth. Try that?
Or Google Docs might work.
OpenOffice.org Portable might also be a good idea, since it runs from a flash drive.
