Bump!

I'm picking this back up once again!
Right now, I'm working on a dev kit thing like what squidgetx is doing for Ash: Phoenix.

I changed the map format slightly, and now I can fit a 32x32 as well as a full 16 tile tileset in a 768 byte buffer (aka L3), and that still leaves me with 128 bytes for warps and enemies, etc. Add 32 bytes for the name, and each area is a nice, clean 800 bytes.

Wow. I didn't expect my game to be that buggy for everyone...
I'll try to make a hybrid version(at the very least I'll use XCOPY or CopyProg) so that it's more playable.

Yeah it would be like last year, although I am unsure when it would start. It would most likely be a similar deadline as the other, though.

Btw, I tried the Zadoth game and it's kinda cool and quite challenging at first, but then I found a glitch that allowed me to survive forever until I decide to let myself die. I scored 9818. O.O

Btw who made that Zombie game? ???

EDIT: I just tried FinaleTI's entry and it looks great, but there were two issues: Game was extremly slow outside battles (it took 3 seconds to render the character) and I got plenty of ERR:INVALID DIM everywhere, forcing me to reinstall the game over and over. :/
Huh. The ERR:INVALID DIM thing is something I didn't expect. I thought the problem would be more with memory errors.
Could you tell me where you encountered the errors?

Nope, just that.  But you have to make sure to add the Fix 8 to the end of the program.  It makes the calc draw bitmaps directly to screen, like normal.

Question: At which point does the calc ever actually use the bitmap command I wonder? O.o
I believe the cross-like graphscreen cursor is a bitmap.

The problem is that MiditoAxe doesn't properly calculate the checksum. Opening them in Wabbit, then exporting them will fix this.

I'm making a game. Let's see if I can pull something off in the next two hours.
Two hours... Good luck.
You did make the Cemetech contest in about one, so I'm sure you can get something.

Submitted my entry. It's as bug-free as I can get it now, so now to wait.

Glad to see progress on this.

On a slightly off-topic note:
I just noticed this and thought it was kinda funny that Pokemon would have a Tao trio.

Drawing to an arbitrary buffer would be really useful IMO.
Pixel testing an arbitrary buffer would also be fantastic.

It was the Knight of Six. Yeah, that surprised me too.
And Suzaku's fate was pretty sad.
You know, maybe we should start a Code Geass topic in the Anime and Mangas subforum so we don't get too offtopic here.
