I would love to find out when recording is, but I don't have the ability to go onto the server nor do I know what the server address is But if we could make a plan for Friday or Thursday i can accommodate...
I thought I gave you the server IP? If not, I can PM it to you. I was thinking that it might be a good idea to create a Google account for Omnimine so that we can then use the calendar to denotate when everyone is available and better coordinate filming times. That account could then also be used as the central contact email for Omnimine, among other things. What do you guys think? Edit: It appears that [email protected] is already taken, so what do you guys think of [email protected]? Just for paranoia's sake, I'm placing this in code tags, so it doesn't show up on a Google search.

Here's an update so people know I'm still working on this. The past few days, I've been perfecting a dynamic menu routine that I'm going to utilize for the battle engine and likely the ingame menu as well. I'm also going to be looking at the linked list sorting routine Runer posted a while ago, to see if I can utilize that to make my battle engine smaller. I've also got to hash out some basic item code (at the very least I need to implement Jerky for the first alpha) and animations for various things, among other things. In short, I still have quite a bit to do, but I'm making progress. I hope to have a screenie of the menu routine in action in a few days.

From my experience, Rainmeter doesn't seem eat too much CPU power, but I've never benchmarked it, so I don't know for sure.

I just finished getting a set up I'm very happy with for the time being. Thanks to SharpEnviro, I've replaced my taskbar and I've also themed Windows Explorer back to Ubuntu. My background shuffles between the Mane 6, Derpy Hooves and Vinyl Scratch, all in a neon glow style.

I would guess it's for general discussion, but we've been using it for OmniMine. And we need a time when we can all go on, or do what someone (I think either FinaleTI or Qwerty) suggested: only have three or four people on at a time because six or seven people for one survival video would be too many. I've had a lot of homework lately, so I think my time window for going on is growing smaller.
I'm available fairly often, if anyone else thinks they'll be available anytime soon, we can give this a go. Maybe we should try sticking with the original 4 for the first few episodes, if possible?

Thanks. It's the Summerfields texture pack. It's customizable, plus has a few animated terrain features thanks to MCPatcher/Optifine. (Waving wildgrass and sparkling diamond ore).

Necropost! I'm posting here so the Omnimine topic can stay a little more on topic, and I didn't see the need to start a whole new topic.
I just finished building a small city fort, and I'm very proud of it. It's probably the most work I've put into a build, and while I did use Creative mode, I'm glad to say I did it by hand, no MCEdit or WorldEdit. I'm probably going to touch it up and import it into a non-flatgrass world before posting it, though.
What do you guys think? It's my first serious Minecraft build, so I'm fairly happy with it, but I'd like to know what you guys think.

Then what did you mean by virtual desktops?
I use a program called Dexpot that allows me to have virtual desktops, each with a customizable background and icon layout.

I'm redoing my desktop yet again... But this time, it should make everyone smile, smile, smile!
This is what it looks like without any icons, though I plan on theming them and distributing them across my virtual desktops, as well as including a Rocketdock. I'm also planning on theming Windows Explorer and Opera to match.
Are you using linux?
Nope, Windows 7.

I'm generally available in the evenings, and I can act as a recorder in case epic07 isn't able to for a session, for whatever reason. Also, if we want to putz around in capes, or other custom accessories for some reason, or something else, I'd love to practice some more Minecraft modding.

It's tough to pick my favorites, since they're all fantastic songs, but it would probably be:
For DJ's songs, I would have to pick The Game That we Lost as my favorite of his power metal songs, and Trancing Through the 8-bit Land, for his trance songs.
For Nitacku, I'm stuck between CTL+ALT+DEL and Omnimaga, though Journey and Absolute are good too. Oh, and Quantum Shift, as well.

Awesome! Glad to see the 81 getting some more attention. Now I can try out Unity without screwing up my real 81.

We could get around the Bandicam watermark by extending the recording area a little above the game window, then cropping it out of the video. I just found I'm also able to record without too much lag with Bandicam, so I can act as a backup recorder, just in case.
