The Axe Parser Project / Re: Axiom Requests« on: December 22, 2012, 02:01:11 pm »In memory, there is no difference between "actual data" and "strings" in Axe. "HELLO WORLD" is literally equivalent to [48454C4C4F20574F524C4400] which is also equivalent to Data(72,69,76,76,79,32,87,79,82,76,68,0)Fixed it for you: Axe automatically adds ending NULs to the end of strings. 203

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Bug Reports« on: December 19, 2012, 08:25:15 pm »
I still got a spurious Illegal Token error. And when I pressed [PRGM], the screen was full of random tokens. The program was in archive, and when I pressed [ON]+[DEL] with zStart to exit w/o saving, my calc crashed.
The same process kept happening until I put in RAM--the spurious error persisted through RAM clears. Also, earlier, I watched as, after compiling an app, but before defragging and writing, Axe just hung, giving me a "Writing..." screen with an empty progress bar. Nothing I did could exit out of it. This again persisted through RAM clears, but a deletion and reinstallation of Axe fixed it. Also, the first time it happened, it deleted two of my source files. I put them back on the calc from backups I had on the computer. They were fine the second time, though. 209

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Axe Parser« on: December 19, 2012, 12:34:09 am »Alrighty, then!Does this mean we might be able to have two-page Axe apps in the future? The error message for a too-large app is "ERR:MEMORY". It really should be something more descriptive, like say, "ERR:TOO BIG FOR ONE PAGE" or something. |
