Oh my god...

They have finally figured out how to factor large prime numbers!!!  YES!!!!!
Maybe they forgot a word between factor and large. Or simply don't know math and cryptography and don't have a science reviewer.

wow the factorization of a large prime isn't the prime itself? joking

Thanks for the input! Hmm, that does seem like a good possibility, but remember that this is 90 years from now so who knows how it will end up...also stay tuned, I will be adding more to the timeline, due to the fact that I have a large section from 4000 on written down that I will add. Also talking about the GEH's why there are so many kind of has to do with the few that can manipulate time, they came back and started manipulating DNA right around now. So it has a good possibility of this happening, and there are some naturally born GEH's.
Err manipulate time, you mean travel in time... If they come back that means the war can be started like 100 years or less after appearing the first homo sapiens. (imagine a super fast industrial age induced by controlling GEH's) And before of this there could be lonely wars between GEH's during all time Earth has a good climate.

You have to somehow limit the time manipulation. And I won't even enter in physics fancy talk of impossibility of travels in normal conditions (conditions that humans could survive). Time travels can exist in extreme situations but what is the interest in being obliterated?

I love this stories because you have to solve as many inconsistencies as you can to bring things interesting.

Goto and Lbl in TI-BASIC are slow (DJ shows why). Also you can do everything in program flow without them.

That said there is no need to use them. The exception is the Menu( command... Lbl's with Menu( isn't a that bad idea depending on what you do.

I love fiction. Maybe I live addicted in it....

Apart from that, I would do the story totally different...
China would be the striker to conquer the world. US world automatically react behind the stages because China would be a fierce power. Russia would do the same as USA but because of how close it is to China, I am unable to predict anything. Korea, Japan and the Middle East fanatic factions would have "interesting" behaviour... Again, I don't know what could happen.

I have to concur with Africa easily conquered except North and South Africa...
Genetically Modified Humans will appear eventually but initially without extreme changes. Just some changes in some genes.

It didn't get my full attention for several reasons but mainly because it is not my style.
One note: think in changing the title to "Possible Future History", "Fictional Future History" or something like that.

Overall, I liked the idea but for me could be better. Still had fun reading. And I believe one of the best ways to know a person creativity and way of thinking is to read how they would construct a world or future.

 Maybe someday I release my notes about fictional "realities" and worlds/universes. I am curious to see the opinions...

wow this is very nice. I think you should change WWIII to WWIV or WWV, though, because I think there will be a 3rd World War much sooner than we think, if we aren't alerady into one since 9/11/2001
MQR (WTF) DJ. Explain yourself a bit. O_o That and a world war (though in my head: it doesn't extend to all continents) even in a kind of silent or cold war.
Or maybe I am too innocent to comprehend.

Talking about WWIII, most probably it will start as a cold and silent war in my opinion. And probably, too, only known by Military and Governments in an initial stage.

TI is cheater on manuals.

USA has different ages in the laws...

 Around here, I think after 16 you can work, buy alcoholic beverage and consume low alcoholic beverages (beer). In USA some of this only after 18 and 21, IIRC.

Strange real(8->K gives a syntax error in my TI-84+SE
:real(8
:Ans->K
//this does not gives error

I used to have the same issue. Somehow, it just started working for me the shorter way, so that's what I used.

Also, feel free to use/modify these programs as you wish. If released, it'd be nice to at least be thrown in the credits though. =)
Credits will be given, of course. :) Better write down a note.

If it didn't initially work it might be better to use it in a way it always worked IMHO, tho, because then many people might have trouble running your programs. That seems a bit like that xLIB glitch with using real(10 with programs containing the Theta symbol in their names
I completely agree in maintain maximum compatibility.

Strange bugs with xlib and/or TI-OS... O.รณ

Nice programs. I did one PICVIEW in pure TI-BASIC. It throws errors if doesn't exist, but works.

Also I used your PICVIEW code and added xlib detection to maybe release in some package of utils, later on.
The detect consist of:
:1:real(0
:If not(Ans
:Then
:Disp "XLIB NOT ENABLED
:Stop
:End
//code with xlib
I found in http://tibasicdev.wikidot.com/xlib-tutorial.

Does this detect works with CelticIII? Does CelticIII has its way to distinguish itself from xlib in TI-BASIC? We can add this info to TI-Basic Developer...

EDIT: Noticed that PICVIEW left/right navigation is a bit too fast on SE.
EDIT2: Using TI-BASIC getkey solves that. :)

to bad these old weapon sprites of mine never got used...
They seem irresistible to include in some RPG. It will be fun to add animation...

One of the things, I want to do is weapons sprites to put on characters during battles.

well, another random neat effect...

This is a alpha mask on a surface.  Using this, you could do things like distortions, portals like effects (this image), mirrors, heat waves, etc.

Well, if it were a hosted IDE and used php on the back end, you could create files on the server itself to store and retrieve the contents and then have a cron job auto delete the files that aren't touched after a certain amount of time. Something like pastebin :)
What a great idea! This makes me want to learn php right away but I will avoid for now.

That stays on long term features but definitely going to do it.

It sucks to feel that the team is not going entirely right.

But in calculators, it is very easy to quit or stop doing stuff. I hope that new staff will be more permanent and active members.
