Other Calculators / Re: How you started programming« on: March 25, 2009, 12:09:02 pm »
Strange enough the calculator was given at my birthday exactly 2 years plus 1 day ago.
I looked not too much enthusiastic, found On button then pressed. Calculator On made some operations, a simple graph, stumbled in menus and shuttled off. Months later... First year using calculator, I started to search math programs and found ticalc. While that I started to found all the menus with plot commands and I coded a program (without knowing that was coding) to draw rectangles and such in the screen. Also stored values into variables and made operations with it. When I arrived at BASIC tutorials I wanted to learn functions to make good math programs. Eventually got interested and made crappy games. Yet I alone discovered the technique of tile mapping with a matrix! And assembly was to understand how all works and make a BASIC lib like great CelticIII it is. I only knew of xLib and I though could be surpassed ^^ This is the quick story. lol nitacku. Maybe I react something like that sometimes. But my angry passes quickly... And so 95% of my motivation. 1189

B/W and 4 pixels moving. The 2 pixels is really frustrating.
Or a option or key to switch 2 or 4 pixels movement. No just stick to 4 pixels... 1191

TI-BASIC / Re: Progress Halted (Celtic III bug)« on: February 27, 2009, 06:24:14 pm »It looks like he's outputting values to the LCD port outside of the range used for contrast. This has potential to cause the blue screen...Ouch that is very bad. Blue screen of death. Can screw your lcd. You have to contact Iambian... Even it is only made with bad inputs, is better to do put checks and avoid bad instructions to lcd. 1193

How Pokémon arrived to the topic?
I always have read Pokémon in tv with the é. You don't have an accent key in the keyboard? Did you put in windows options as a French/Spanish/Portuguese keyboard? French are worst than Portuguese in accentuation è and é are spoken differently if I remember right. :p 1194

I intended and I think I generally do... Enough excuses: http://group.revsoft.org/iso.zip It is very easy to understand (to who knows ASM, of course) and has a picture with tilemaps. Anyway I made a screenshot for others to see: 1195

He got relations, what a looser. joking Females are really intricate, but yes, we can leave without "hers".
Enjoy life man, calc programming shouldn't be top priorities. You got a good excuse to delay the project lol 1199

In Revsoft group I found an isometric engine in ASM.
"tiles" were 16 wide and 8 high in pixels. But I am wondering what is the better way to do the isometric map? A balanced with visual and fitting enough in the screen. The screen sometimes can be so small. I hadn't patient to draw on calculator some maps... 1200

I guess xlib usage is exactly the same. Or has some little issues?
