I don't think brandonW has finished periph8x though. I am currently trying to figure out how to send key presses in C++.
For screen shots, everything would be exactly as it is now except once you get wabbitemu running, you put your keyboard away, plug in your calculator, and use it as your new keyboard for wabbitemu.
I would like to use that. It would allow me to experiment anything without risking my real calculator and with a real calculator keyboard.

Yeah, I hope some of the projects progresses again when school starts. My hope is that not too many staff/members have Summer classes+job or no internet access
If we post them during Summer maybe we can prevent the activity to drop too much with the plus of advancing the works. There is plenty of time in Summer, but there are several "problems" like more lax about programming.

A teaser. The first thing I thought was it looks just like Netham. (true)
But it does not resemble for me any game. I never played Earthbound. The sprite looks good, but most important than one outstanding sprite, I think, is how all the sprites will appear together and blend beautifully with each others. Make good use of the sprite.

Not only we are posting less but also staff projects don't seem to have many progress.
When the finals end, we have to start posting interesting stuff to catch up the activity.

Perhaps axe could support external .wav files in the future! It couldn't be used for music, too big, but you could have really high quality sound.
Maybe MIDI for the music.....
That looks CPU expensive. Very interesting table Quigibo. And I will hear the Youtube videos to understand what is triangle and square sounding. It got me almost as surprised as after reading that some physic particles have flavours... There is also stories of a person that can taste colours. simply wtf in this confusion of senses.

Yes, we have memes on TV in Europe. Unfortunately... And all from one single tv show. Only SIC to repeat that tv show that comes from a weird Asiatic idea. Ok, funny at first and up to ~10 shows but becomes stupid after repeating and exhausted repetition. Enough complaining. Can you hear this... uh... thing until the end? Starting by this one: EDIT: This one actually brings some good happy times to many people: EDIT2: these ones are more audible relatively to my culture, Brazilian songs, and yes, turned into memes

You should not give those names or adjectives to his parents. Do not loose your temper with this situation. Because that makes loose respect and if we had reason we will not have some count by his parents after this.
I really don't understand why they are blocking only websites either. If he was spending really too much time with his hobby and affecting his real life, it would be a hard but good in overall decision.

Dividing the game area into 4 parts for the collision detection is a smart idea. It can be used in any game that has a lot of objects that enter into collision checks.
Continue the progress. ^^

Looks really cool and fast. I have to learn how to enlarge sprites like that. Enlarging by 2x is easy, though...

Keep in mind this news was cross posted from Cemetech, though, meaning your nickname appears on Cemetech news too ^^
Yeah, that is true. ticalc news would have much more views. By the way, I reported some more things to Kerm. Remember the token picker? He is working on getting all those tokens working good. That is fantastic news for ASCII, dual layer graphics and for someone to write math notes on a computer, too.

Yeah, I use the (ix+nn) trick sometimes in my variable-height masked sprite routines
Yeah, that is the smaller and faster way in size to have in count the variable height. Not using SMC in this case is much harder to code.

I am impressed with the Axe Parser have enough attention for the real need of a guide with some more advanced code for Axe Parser.
It would be interesting to release in ticalc. When I have a opportunity, I will read this and give my thoughts about it. I still need to check out the assembly guide by Hot Dog first. ^~
