If I mastered 1 minute could be easy for me too.

I can sustain the breath easily for 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Site Feedback and Questions / Skin's smooth scrolling
« on: March 26, 2010, 12:35:13 pm »
I just noticed this on Linux.
The v3 skin has very bad smooth scrolling in Ubuntu with GNOME as GUI and Firefox as browser.
The v5 is acceptable but can be tiring.
But v4 is very snappy and has perfect scrolling.

So using the skin version 4 solves the problem. I hope this helps someone.

I didn't notice this on Windows XP or 7. I will check out in my laptop...

And some feed about how good the omnimaga forum is scrolling in you is appreciated to know if it is Firefox in Linux fault or the skin.

To DJ Omnimaga and Eeems that can administrate the forum_ I don't know if you could help this but since using v4 solves the problem I think that you don't ought to optimize the other skins. Also I need to research a bit to pinpoint the cause.

Trying to move the discussion out of big Rubiks and 4D. O.O

And there are people who solve in strange conditions:
- underwater (hold your breath)
- with one hand
- 2 Rubiks at the same time, 1 for each hand, of course
- see the Rubik, blind yourself and solve it blind
I don't remember more.

You ought using 4x4 font like in BBC Basic and store as ASCII, not TI tokens.

One idea of mine is an oncalc debugger. No kidding, it is possible to a certain extent.

Features that I have though:
- disassembler (already done in Calcsys but I suggest using 4x4 font for displaying more code)
- hex editor and memory viewer (again implement 4x4 font)
- view registers upon On+otherkey token (I have seen this done)
- breakpoints (just do a call to the debugger)
- call the debugger with a odd key combo

Good luck with the project. The main problem is memory issues on source code and labels, memory will be a limitation... Macros would be though and I only suggest implementing simple ones in later stage.

In an afternoon I tried to solve a Rubik but got stuck in the last phase.
I just saw a quick Youtube video with a technique requiring few memorization, just needed some intelligence, I watched 1 week before and I spent the whole afternoon learning the "tricks" while watching tv. Well the last steps are the hardest to learn.

But I intend to learn quicker ways someday. Solving in less than a minute will be my objective.

Does anyone know any good sin/cos routines that are under 128 bytes?  The entire circle should be 256 brads (binary radians) so each quadrant is 64.  It doesn't need to be 100% accurate, but it should be pretty close.  It doesn't need to be that fast either, but I would prefer using a method that doesn't need multiplication such as a look up table or CORDIC.
I think yes. It was made by Will West but I couldn't find the original post in Revsoft so I add as attach.

see: "Sin_A   parabolic approximation of sin(a) a is in units of pi/256"

For some reasons, some people tend to miss the navbar, though x.x
And go 2.

Also a easy link to stats in the navbar would be another candidate for navbar links. But it is in Home, it should suffice.
It's a really hard choice what to put, what not...

Tricky changes...

It is quite hard to move things but News can be accessed through Home or Forums at the cost of 1 more click. (I never used the News navbar link... O_o)

And finally updated with higher resolution. Now all detail can be seen. ;)

You included some forums I never knew that existed. Also Omnimaga is monopolizing soon the z80 forums posts. :D
