well, i think the overclocking mod would include adding a switch to switch speeds from 6 to 15 mHz and back

okay, i know i must sound like a huge idiot for asking this, but how does axe work? for my calc at least, i just load up the app, select one of my programs and it give me an error. and the parsing doesn't seem to work for me. do i have to activate something?

ahh. yeah, i would assume it would take a lot of guts and engineering knowledge to know how to properly install backlights and such, but i would definitely do it if i had the abilities. i was just looking on ebay, and yeah, couldn't find one modded one there. only modded faceplates

okay, now i'm using variables to change the probability, but i'm 90% sure that my method is terribly unefficient. i'm just using a:
:If S>1 and S<20:Then : blah blah blah
type of thing, (with more If statements added of course), with the variables just at randInt(1,100) right now. is there a better way? i want it so when somebody buys something, it will increase the probability for one horse and decreasing the probability for the other horses.

i'm pretty sure that xLIB has a command that can restrict the size of the graph screen, thus allowing you to do your 32-space thingy. but, i'm rough with xLIB (finally got it two days ago), so i'm not totally certain

yeah, i just figured that modded calcs would be slightly common in this community, kinda like modding controllers for systems such as xbox360 and ps3

I was browsing ticalc's site, and found a section on "overclocking your calculator" to dramatically increase the speed. I was curious, has anybody here ever done that with their calculator? If so, how did it turn out? http://www.ticalc.org/hardware/overclocking/

xD THAT is weird. but yeah, it was just my computer's security settings acting up. my dad is virus-paranoid (the reason we switched from windows-xp to Ubuntu), and only allowed downloading of files from TIcalc.org. so i went into cmd and changed the settings to allow this site too.
don't worry, there's like a 1 in 1000000 chance that someone else will have the same thing happen
