The Axe Parser Project / Calcnet Axiom
« on: February 10, 2012, 10:35:16 pm »
Planed features:
-Interact with calcnet routines and such for handeling data
-Offer data handlers that may be slow but will help prevent misfires
-Anything else you want like things to manage connections and such
-The mandatory splash screen for gcn (you can just add in the required image to your game if you want will explain in readme)

Issues:
I can say now. L1 and L3 will suffer if you use calcnet nothing can be done about it it is where Kerm keeps the stuff CalcNet lives on

The Key routines will mimic axe's but will  not be the same

anything else thats needed or wanted ask. I will also be using this thread for help on making axioms as some of it is like LOLWUT to me. but at least I get calcnet xD

Currently Accomplished:

 Command set:
SetS Sets the ok to send flag
ResS Resets the ok to send flag  note i see no applicable use other than to change data if the data in the buffer was not sent in a reasonable time
SetR Sets the "you got data" flag, only applicable use is to block incoming messages
ResR Resets the "You got data flah" Allows more data to come in

GetS returns the send buffer flag
GetR returns the recieve buffer flag

There is also a wrapper that sets up pointers for use.

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Axiom Requests
« on: February 10, 2012, 08:04:55 pm »
What I'd like to see is an axiom that adds gCn support.
I imagine that this would be pretty hard to make, but it would be pretty great...

i could take a stab at this tonight if you want. give me a few hours and i will see if i can pull something together maybe...need to relearn basic axe

(i already have gcn practice lol)

also you will need the dcs app installed regardless thats not like removable.

also how automated do you want the axiom to be
should it handle everything including finding and keeping tabs on the amount of people in the hub. Or should it just set it up and expose the routines needed?

also what token should i use </doesnt care>

ASM / Re: Asm for the TI84+
« on: January 31, 2012, 08:38:16 pm »
Yeah, the TI-84+ is backwards compatible with the 83+, the only thing that differs is that the 84+ has additional BCALLs for the additional hardware, the rest should be the same as the 83+. And the .org value too, if I'm right?

na teh .org value is the same. the only differance is the bcalls for the hardware and the ability to use 15mhz speed instead of 6

Figured i would read threw the axiom sdk for once. and its not that hard to use so. if you need any supporting routines that you cant make up in axe just let me know i will do some asm shennanagins and give you a axiom to use

i would say make a scripting system set it up to be unlimited and just plan the levels around that making a "cap" where memories ends. this allows us to change it as it goes and will also allow you to dynamically load enimies and remove them with out much effort

Good idea, providing you continue keeping us updated here afterward too :)

wouldent dream of not updating here :P would just be easier to merge our chagnes as atm we are doing this really wonky deal with a ftp server lol

Ok, here is the movement engine, but it's only a draft. But since I have no working calc anymore...
Maybe it could help. I hope my calc will be fixed in a few days so I can work on it again.
Btw great work parser padwan !

\0/ what happened to the calc 0.o

before we create tiles and levels, we should decide this first:
There are 6 stages in Metal Slug. Which themes are we gonna use? desert? forest?

All of the above and just decompress them on the fly with pucrunch :D (or into memory to work with them that works as well >.> <.<)

I would offer but i have quite a few projects in the oven atm so to speak. So I will just remain and help with what I can. if you need a simple axiom for something though i may be able to help.

@dj @JustCause

he is still like under mega lock down i fear. i heard from him the other day but life still seems hectic for him :/ (one text to me in a month... which is ALOT less than normal)
This sucks, but can't he access internet from school? Or did parents ordered teachers to block him from computers?

I can't wait until he turns 18 so he can move away.

makes two of us. and i really don't know what his situation is atm all i have gotten are some vauge texts. oh well time will tell
