hopefully!
the reason i'm requesting this is because i need to break these larger sheets up into single frames give them names that make sense to me and then write a animation script for them. by breaking them up i wont be going lOlWutSNeXt every time i need to make a frame ^_^ 693

Homer-16: I need to apologize to you homer your going to have to sprite your druid on a fe planet sheet. turns out fe editor advance does not like me and will only repallate in the class manager. what this means is that since you have a awesome looking hood i have to do more leg work. this is my fault so ill take care of converting it off the fe planet sheet. again my apologies
FinaleTI: if you could be so kind to go threw your 3 charas sheets and just do some MSPAINT style breaks ups for whats a crit, dodge, normal, attack ect that will be LOVELY Shmibs: cant wait to see how thats coming along same request for you as i gave to finale please ^_^ ZippyDee: look awesome you mind getting the rest of the sprites linked and putting dividers in as well? will really just save me alot of time in the end Frey: ty ill start getting on those Sircmpwn ... i really have no will to sprite him any more so i will just repallate him what class are we making him jc? if he even wants to be in this hack still >.< 694

lol there is plenty of time for more characters its just unless i can work the quirks out of FE Editor i'm going to have to script ALL characters by hand because it wont take stupid palate changes
which means alot of work for people who want charas because i do not have the patience to convert 8+ people as well as go special spell animations and such but it will work out 695

Hopefully I can get some demo videos and patches up soon! and by this im 99.99% sure he means i need to start hammering out animations and stuff as xD there being really anoying need to set up jdk so i can edit FE Editor Adv it happily comes with source code <3 696

actually a overhead battle system would be harder than a platformer like one in link II
but Link II i think would be less enjoyable over time as a overhead one you can employ more stratagies and elements into the system as the game prorgresses side by side gets pretty linear 698

that would be insteresting and actually a zelda II style battle system would be a heluva lot easier to code than the ys one. but the ys one is more versatile i think

im thinking seperate screen will allow for easier integration of magic and such and make the tilemapper alot easier to code as well as not slowing it down by having the constant drain of an ai and magic system being tacked on top of rendering the map

well items were kind of a given I think.
what version of ys do you suggest for a first time player? i actually have never played them...... and probably me being paranoidal but i like to have every thing written first before i start coding makes it easy to remember every thing so so far we have ys style fighting items?? 702

I've got a couple projects being worked on and one made just takes practice ^_^
still have no idea what you guys are actually expecting in the battle engine other than ys style correct? 703
TI Z80 / Re: community-driven RPG« on: August 13, 2011, 08:12:41 pm »

i would prefer to have like one more person other than me working on the battle engine if thats going to be in pure asm. as depending on how fancy you all want it it can turn into alot of work
