aight well i may change the animation up not to sure as of yet it looks awesome but that was a unanticipated issue :/ (and might be fixable...with a less...ordinary means of fixing things....)

the gif actually got a bit truncated. after the spell animation is over you show right back up xD. It also only occurs when you attack someone. it does not occur when you are attacked (script system bug much?)

ill try to get my spell animation done today. im just going to remove this from the script for now until i can get the bugs out.

hmm not to happy about this but with the intro animation it calls the first frame as the during enimy attack animation. kinda ugly now :/ as this is the only way to get it to show the chara while he is being attacked X.x

yeah that was my first proper animation to and it looks kickass in my opinion :P

(note the animation is the intro not the spell at the end. photoshop was being a tard and crashing every time i tried to truncate it :/)

this is probably the final layout for him. and is only 1 frame of about 60 i have to make for him.

Now little know fact

at the start of battles the people are normally stagnant. in actuality you have ~16 frames of animations that can be done during the start of the battle while they are "standing"

figured i would just point that out :P as my person will have an epic intro >:F (he will live up to the name geekboy xD)



@justcause. not to be a pain but when you get a chance can you say who is who class wise. because i know people like sir will be needing a reanimation to happily fit there wants.
and so i need to get sprite sheets to them so i can properly edit there frames together animation side



rom expanding wise. it looks like you just go in and repoint the buffers to the new space. then from there copy the data over and ignore the old data or mark it as free space for other use. blazers ultimate tutorial goes over this some where in it and its talked about during the music section as well


@dj the game takes midis directly so supposing we have permission there should be no reason we cant use that :P (related to a really old post now)

awesome sounds good to me merth.

JustCause: after a bit of research it looks like you can inject data where ever you want at the end of the rom as long as you update all the relavent pointers in nightmare it *should* work out properly. Should as in i have not tested it yet as I am still clue less with nightmare.

i also know for some music modding the ram will be expanded unvoluntarily :P so that will be interesting

still need the genereic stats description/class stats described in the first post so we can balance your character into the game. picture info wise just the generic blatant description of what you want to look like. i should be able to work off that

@ finali    i learned something new so ill see about getting your previous sheet done correctly more to learn i guess xD so just hold up on editing that other sheet sorry :/ unless of course you want to remake your battle animations from scratch then go for it and ill make magic happen

ok ill look that part up in blazers tutorial ive been just goofing and not really reading tutorials for any of this >.> <.< we were waiting for you cause well i did not know what to do >.> <.< so i just chucked them the normal sprite sheets

as for making you look bad na its not that hard its just sparcely documented when you get back ill walk you threw the steps ^_^

freespace ... not an issue you can expand the size of the rom with some magics and then it should not be a problem  (another feature of feditor i believe)

catloli thing kk ill make some custom stuff and throw it over lyn in my copy for now just to show stuff ill save every thing i do in a easy to repeat format

and finnaly ill take a look at injection if i am not mistaken its not to hard to do. as it just becomes a increment in the table which then has every thing else on it not to sure i have to look again. or i can leave it to you what ever works

also im not a god just a person who had a lot of spare time today :P

if i need to i can rescript if off a sprite sheet like the last one.  so go wild if you want to be fully custom. if not repallate it if you want but i think we might be better off waiting for justcause. but if you want to change it up ill just rescript it :P
