@homer yes that is the color pallete you get 16 colors including the background color. the background color is the one in the top left the others are yours to change as needed. and keep them aligned across them all (aka make the pallets the same on all your sprite sheets this way we dont have to adjust it later and can save space with a smaller pallet

@frey  well decide your class im not doing it for you :P well choose your base class and ill modify it based off that. its not mine i got alot of work cut out on the valkyrie for me :P

@finali yeah i see that as well X.x if i need to I might be willing to rescript your chara...thats alot of work but it will look AWESOME (this means custom animations that you make for all myrmidon classes...or i can learn proper injection >.> <.<)

sadly these ones are a bit complex X.x

justcause how were you importing them? by manually breaking his sprite sheet up to match these????

Edit:

I believe that would be me frey. what is your starting class actually being based off of?(dancer was it?)

yeah they are a bit nicer just remember edit every thing color pallate wise and keep the positions relatively the same ^_^

and yeah these are a bit nicer than feplanets sheets to work with........as we can directly import them...unless im missing a function X.x

those are his default sprite sheets gluck they are chopped up a bit to save space but thats how they come gluck and i hope you can decipher them.....if your going for simple changes just mirror it makes life easier :P

OK lets type that again just eaiser to understand

those are the default sprite sheets that the game uses so they are a bit choped up.
Now looking at the set up im giving you the normal druids sprites as well as im not sure what justcause is capable of doing cross class spriting wise. it may require us redoing the whole animation script which is not fun.

so here are the druid sprites

for animation gifs as referance find them on

there on there some where >.> <.<

Double post for lulz

any way

http://forums.feshrine.net/index.php?showtopic=301

explains how to do animations quite nicely. and it looks like its the same exact set up for spell animations. just need to watch ram and such (the documentation is sparse agreed but other than that not to crappy)

making custom spells is alot of work though and takes a good amount of space. needless to day its doable though so far. im going to mess with the demo one a bit and see if i can change it up a bit :P

EDIT:
Hmm well scripting them is easy enough im just at a loss with injececting them into the rom properly still X.x

EDIT2:

well after mucking with the demo script we get these
i edited the forblaze spell
Original:

Custom:

And finnaly i have the ability to rip sprite sheets now for people. they are a pita to edit but albiet they are fully complete unlike the Feshrine ones so.
those who need sprite sheets ask away so we can get chugging and make justcause proud during his absence....and at the same time make him so over flooded with work that he cant sleep at night cause he needs to catch up ;)

Best of luck. The graphics data should be easy to find, but the Spell Association module for NM is irritating to find and very poorly documented.

Honestly, with all the interest you're showing, you might end up more qualified to do this hack than I am :P

na i only show interest to keep the project kicking and to give a hand to the actual person. im my opinion two heads is better than one as if i learn something i can teach you and vice versa. AND it keeps some of the load off of you. Rom hacking has always seemed like alot of work to me so a nudge here and there helps alot specially when its something complicated ^_^

Oh, and if you're thinking of doing custom spell animations, don't bother. I have absolutely no idea how to edit those. I'm not even sure where the data is. :)

I think I will learn this for lulz...gonna be spending a lot of time at the hospital in the next week (mother not feeling good :/) so i got a lot of time. And i shall look threw. personally I like knowing how to do stuff as i am a perfectionist with graphics and such like this. so i would rather extract edit implant test repeat until its just right :P

thats just me tho

and oh yeah forgot about those >.> <.<

Well, as long as you don't end up in perpetual rewrite hell, I support this completely. Looking forward to progress -- good luck!

I doubt that will happen. the only outstanding issue with the old engine was the lack of testing on the scripting engine. so when i got my hands on it i kinda reeked some havoc. and considering its almost 2 year old code now with no sane notes remaining. Its just smarter to rewrite it with a new loved compression routine (PuCrunch) and a helping eye from some one who knows where the script system failed last time (me :P)

and obviously all your guys support it making it awesome. as a great game is getting publicity again xD

do you know any places i could look to learn how to rip the sprites? i'm willing to do it i just don't know how :/

even if its just the tutorial you learned from that would help i just have no idea where to look....normally not into rom hacking...am used to a hex editor tho :P
