Rawr i like this idea if it comes out nice i just hope its not to overly cpu intense for my computer suxs ;.;

as for me im not to sure as to what to call it and no idea what to use as my hint ...as long as its not the latest quote T.T

Rofl if gcn works in tibasic why the hell not ill make a picto chat like game i see no reason .... but atm gcn + tibasic == nothing ;) to my knoledge at least

and ashbad you do get that this is an rpg right? not just like a place hang ;) and thats visual aide for me the game will be 100% text when im done ;)

OH GOD i started to draw up the map of the actual channel...guess i need to add a new area for the computer sections....aka every thing every one has said T.T

so far i have things drawn to what i believe to be in the channel but i know its my view point so ill post the image soon as my fsecking scanner works xD

maybe i might introduce a form of event based fighting depends on how the event system ends up being hammered out as of the moment i have no idea what the internals of this is going to look like hell the text parser part of it is going to be hell in its own accord.

the text parser parses strings of commands like a console up to two words at once its a lot more complex in code than one would think T.T

Now that thats cleared up what is #Omnimaga - The RPG


Well it intends to be a unlinear(ish) exploration rpg in the land of #Omnimaga's Memes

Cherry dragons lolis and evil clones and all

There really is no goal set as to what the "object" of the rpg is. There will really be no leveling up there will be hidden areas and puzzles and such though to get threw to get to all the areas ^_^

Other than that thats all i have so far.

OH and for the record this hopefully will be an example of a good text based RPG ;)

if you look on the first image there is a lot of white space in which some smaller words do fit as shown on the left one because its looking like the space must fit in the line pixel wise instead of allowing the space to be cliped


i hope this makes more sense

i should have some time later tonight ill doctor up a screen shot to show what i meen looking back on that it was a bad wording of what i meant so ill just use a picture <3

as for now its a rpg so im still hammering out the maps and stuff and how im storing every thing ill make a topic for it later as well yay

Scrolling bug fixed only ones i see atm are the APD issues and the support for lower case letters ^_^ and what has already been stated

so far with word wrap all i see is that you require a space as the last letter on a line any way you can check to see if its would be a space and truncate that space??? would make it a bit cleaner i think ^_^ (more of a feature so no rush on it atm ^_^ )

also on word wrap lines larger than supported (words larger than screen) just make it so nothing is displayed at all....
