gbc4nspire has not yet been updated to open the .gb file clicked. nDoom, nPlayer and NESpire have. Maintaining gbc4nspire is quite difficult since calc84maniac unfortunately lost its source code.
Ok, thanks for you answer! Another question: Maybe someone can make it possible to link your devices with the cable you got with the calculator. Just like with the gameboy connection cable, you would be able to eg. trade pokemon, fight eachother etc.

Also did you download nDoom from the first post in the topics of this sub-forum? Because those are from Ndless 2.1. You must download it from TI-Planet.
(Maybe it would be a good idea if critor put it in Omni downloads section too, even if it links directly to the TI-Planet download or ticalc.org)
I downloaded it from the first page, I'll check if the one from TI-Planet works.

I have been trying to install ndless onto my touch pad Nspire, I have downloaded the ndless file and transferred it to my calculator, The installer isn't able to be transferred with the folder (it says some unsupported were not transferred) and when I try to move just the installer it starts to install it but then my calculator resets and the connection software says connection has been lost and to try again. When I try to transfer it from my documents to my calculator it says that it is an unsupported file and won't transfer it. Can anyone help me?
To install it, you should have a folder called ndless with ndless_resources.tns and nsless.cfg.tns . Then you should just drag the ndless_installer-3.1.0 with the right extension to you calculator within the student software. It should give the message on your calculator Ndless has been installed. You can ignore error give by the student software while installing. You can test whether it works with colors.tns or particles.tns, which can be found calcbin/samples.

I have a question about gbc4nspire. Is it possible to define your own controls? If it's not, maybe you can add it in a later version

Well it might be best to rename it back to its original name (see the zip file if you forgot the exact name), becuase I don't think it's meant to be changed.
Oh and welcome to the forums by the way
Thank you for your help! I renamed it back to gbc4cx (also in the cfg) and it now works kind of. Now if I open game.gb.tns, it just starts gbc4cx. I don't know if this is the whole file association, because I thought it would open it with gbc4cx, but this is cool too

How can I reset the ndless.cfg.tns, because I changed gbc4touch to gbc4cx, and restarted my calculator, but when I click on game.gb.tns, it says it doesn't understand the document (maybe be different, because I freely translated it from Dutch).
From what I think, the file formats and link with the actual app is hard-coded, so basically Ndless sees gbc4cx and gbc4cx2 or whatever alternate name you give it as different programs.
I changed it to the name I have for it, - GameBoy 4 CX -, but it still gives the error

Does it reboot immediatly when launching nDoom? Or, can you see something on the screen before it does reboot?
You're the 1st and only one to report such a problem.
First I see black screen with white bars in the lower half of the screen, then it crashes. Maybe it's because I'm using Ndless 3?

yes, ndoom.tns is the executable itself
I think I don't understand you What do you think is the reason of the crash??

erm you are selecting ndoom.tns not doom1.wad.tns
I tried both, but with ndoom.tns it crashes

When I start it, my Nspire reboots . I'm using the Nspire CX with firmware version 3.1.0.392 with Ndless 3. gbc4cx works perfect and other ndless programs do too.
