Well heck! That vid is merely grotesque! No you should be fine! Explain it to your parents. You didn't watch the vid (say you didn't even want to watch it) and that you were doing nothing wrong which you weren't.

Yes, if you didn't watch it, then definitely deny watching it at all. If not, if they have found out then formally apologize then explain the situation.
The school took away your phone outside it's own policy and punished you for technically no legitimate reason. Make sure to read up on school policy and see if there's any clause about watching inappropriate media. If there's not, or if you didn't watch the vid, that can't do anything to you. 1459

My topic is "How to set up a C/C++ development environment on a Windows 7 install and compile using an external library" The funny thing is is that my English Professor knows nothing about computers 1460

They shouldn't threaten you for quoting school policy. Especially since you know what you're talking about. Make sure your parents know about this and let them take care of it. The school will definitely give them more credit.

Miscellaneous / Re: How much English words do you know?« on: October 12, 2011, 09:27:26 am »
22,300 words.
Slightly below the average though That's misleading because I read more than most people my age and I generally use more complex words especially in emails and such. 1467

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I would just always hear people say it's impossible or requires a SMF mod, but overall to anyone who has the knowledge and time it would actually be quite simple to make a workaround like that.
Usually it's easy to figure out which posts were downrated, but substantially harder to see which were uprated. Which is what I'm personally interested in. 1468

You know, something with that. Can't we just put in code in the function that runs for the rating to get the info of the post it's on then save that to a location for the user to see later?
(If you can understand that, you are a god. If not, sorry I'm bad at explaining things) |
