Enu_N, I am not trying to troll or be mean, but it seems like you're taking Pokemon too far. They don't have feelings, because they are just pictures printed on a card, a molded and painted chunk of plastic, or data allocations on a card/disk/cartridge, not an animal with feelings. Yes, the games are very fun (I still play Pokemon Colosseum), but it's just a game.
Samebull, I agree with you,
pokemon can't be your friends they're just chunks of data in a widely marketed childrens game.
I can understand having fun but i don't think you should take it so seriously
Enu_N, I think I can answer your question:
but what are they TO YOU? What do you treat them as?
I treat them as nonexistent creatures in a video game.
I think you're being a little unfair to him. I can understand where he's coming from, personally, if Singularity was more popular, I'd be all over making Singularity references. Also, a lot of people like to make emotional ties with their games, I know of a time in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion where I truly regretted having to carry out a mission for the Dark Brotherhood. If you see characters and entities in game as only data on a disc or cartridge then you've sort've missed the point of that character or entity imho. Also, I don't think he's taking it too far. He's more of, "playing the part". Role-playing as he mentioned earlier. (Taking it too far was if he really tried to seriously capture an animal or something with a small red and white ball)

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10573921/math.zipOk so here's the images as .png files. Also num.gif contains several more I made as layers but they're mostly +, -, X, /, !, etc I could attempt the italic font. Math font or alphabet.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10573921/Druid.zipAnother snapshot if you wanted to take a look. All I really need to do is modify the facial area, and the front piece of cloth with the gold for two of the files. One is completely done and the other I just need to edit one last part. (PS I just reuploaded the file so it's still the same link as before in case you were wondering)

^And that one's immediate. The other ones I can close out of in time before the music starts.

I'm a huge Square Enix fanboy (renewed after last night's download of Chaos Rings), as well as Hatsune Miku (I MISSED HER CONCERT in Cali two days ago, waaaaaah), Fire Emblem (to the point of fanfiction), and any kind of competitive fighter. Especially SSB64.
I'm also a recovered Sonic fanboy.
I'm a big fan of Square Enix, especially of the early FF games. I really wish they returned to that level of awesomeness in their games.

What are you a Fanboy or Fangirl of? I am a fanboy of Taokaka, Catgirls, and Singularity. I'm also a semi-fanboy in Halo lore. Also I posted this in Misc. Discussion because I would like this to be at least a semi-serious discussion.

My sprites are coming along nicely. I hope to have them done by the end of the week. Turns out I'm quite good at spriting. Albeit slow.
