Backtrack FTW I've mainly use Ubuntu but I want to switch to Arch Linux. I just need to get it set up once I actually have my own computer.

I've never used Axe but from some of the games and apps I've seen yes this would be possible. Though it may need a few changes in the controls like setting the beginning and end of a cut before you do it and such to account for slow speed. If that's even a problem. Builderboy might be the one to go to for physics though. Or you could perhaps try this thread: http://ourl.ca/11113

Why don't you market the original higher end version as a handheld computer to widen the market?

I agree with z80man. I hope it will still be a calculator that's basically a small computer in disguise. I already have a project I'm working out for the UGX.

If you're gonna have a USB port where you could potentially connect HD's and stuff, will there be a power adapter to connect to an outlet or something to help power those devices? My friend once connected his 500GB portable HD into his TI-89 and it instantly drained his calc so it'll need something like that for the more power hungry devices.
Standard USB ports only provide 500ma of current. His external hard drive probably already had another port on it for power, sometimes in the form of a second USB port. With high current draw devices, you would usually want a second power supply anyway.
No it's single usb powered. Idk, maybe his batteries were low?

I think // is best for comments (c++ programmer here ) Also, if you haven't added it already, will you add a command to display a variable? Edit: 200th post!

There's an XKCD for that....http://xkcd.com/834/
But yeah. No one is perfect, and Sony does have some motivations. If they really want to make peace, they could bring back OtherOS. Not kidding. And get rid of the HyperVisor sucking away SPU cores.
Lol I remember that one. I think that what Sony is doing is sickening. For one, the ability to run 3rd party software like that actually helps (NSpire-ndless anyone?) And two, it just goes against the "pioneering" spirit that shouldn't be blocked especially when it comes to computers and the like. It's people who figure out how to hack these things and learn how they work are the ones who will define and advance the future of computers. They're hurting everyone by doing this.

Today's actually my 18th Birthday. It sorta sucked because I had to go to a huge state-wide competition for computer programming. I was gone from 5:30 AM to 11:00 PM!

This tutorial is awesome. I failed to learn ASM twice from reading 28 days. (was always registers and flags that confused me) I read your tutorial and it completely clicked! I printed out every lesson (including new lesson 13 and 14 as well as appendices A,B,C, and D) and the stack is HUGE! You have over 300-400 pages there I'd say. And your tutorials are so easy to read, I finished them in merely a week.

Plus in those kinds of equations it makes the math appear so much cleaner, thus, making it easier to work with.
