Web Programming and Design / What is a better domain name?

Me and my friend are starting up our own site. However, he seems to think that Codeplanet is a good name. I think we should use Coding or some other name. I think codeplanet is mediocre and he even thinks it's just ok, but he just wants it because it's free for a year while coding is only $7 a year. ($7 for a whole year! That's a steal)

We were going to use IDKCoding but someone took it right as we were parking our site there.

Sounds good. I think this will fit the game quite well.

True, though I don't quite mind old textbooks. I just hate the old videos.

ClrDraw is also an option.

Code: [Select]
:ClrDraw
:DispGraph

Yeah, My friend should have something. It will still be at least a week though, we are writing a small utility program to help with the creation of maps so we need to finish that first to create a demo level.

Hey nice to see you again Mride! Also I'm glad this project is still going on. :)

We just finished collision detection today. So we can soon give you all some screen shots. And we're almost out of pre-alpha stage.
Yeah, I've been gone awhile.  So I was thinking big booming dark music for the daemon, and then kind of nail-biting violin harmonics for the boss?
Does that give the kind of style you want?

That's perfect. Nice to see you back btw.

All my books are current. Like, past five years.

I just hate how teachers LOVE to use videos from the 70's and 80's. I mean, I know it's supposed to be 'educational' but the terrible sound, the over-the-top acting, and terrible computer graphics detract from it. Not to mention that half the stuff you already know. :P

I just program whenever we watch one of those things.

I attempted a DDR game in basic a year ago. I had movement, images and collision detection all worked out but for some reason the game randomly crashed. Literally, it was completely random. x.x Too bad I don't have the source anymore.

But, yeah, I know of a group that would LOVE to hear of this.

I'll be following this with interest.

Same here. This kind of stuff always interests me, not sure why. Maybe I'll become a psych major, who knows? :P

I'm copying these into .rtf files so I can print them out and look over them. Very interesting.

As an idea, could you add in a loading bar or something like that. I have a few large images that I like to open that take a while and I'd like to have an approximation of the remaining time. (Like a 5 MB pic that takes about two minutes to open) :P

1117. You checked the math in binary.

1118. And then in Hex.

The Daemon, think of it as the 'God" of daemons. No real personality. it's strong and big but really, more, detached. It's basically being used by the boss it's not truly evil.

The boss is more driven. He's cunning and powerful, but he has a vision and he bent on achieving it. (If you've ever played FF VI think Kefka without the silliness)

That's why I use FF portable and chrome portable. Not only do you have great browsers constantly with you, but you have all your bookmarks and settings as well. :P

Me and my friends' site doesn't show up correctly with IE. So we put up a warning and links to FF and Chrome. :P

yeah i wished i could do that but thelibarary computers don't allow running of exe files (uknow, virus danger or somewhat) so i am still forced to use ie7 at the libraries

That's pretty bad. Anti-virus + portblocker/monitor + FF w/NoScript/RequestPolicy should take care of most viruses.

(Actually any one of them takes care of most viruses) x.x At least the internet related ones :P
