Yeah I use MinGW as my compiler. Im still having problems with using allegro in my programs. I use Code::Blocks with MinGW. I think I might not have the dll file required. Though I haven't found any DL's.

Ok think I see the use of pointers a little.
I was really talking about how I would go about adding a library so I could just include it from anywhere with #include.

How do you add libraries to where you can just include the .h file? Im trying to link with allegoro for gui's and graphics and stuff.
And what exactly are pointers good for. I know what they do and what they are but what can they do that variables can't?
Thx.

Idk if something like this has been said already but here's a senior prank me and my friends cooked up.
Ok, so at my school the boot menu isn't blocked or anything. So we are able to boot into Linux where we have root privileges.
Our plan was to lock the computer, play an annoying song at full volume with a image of the windows blue screen. (For a guy that everyone REALLY hates it puts up pictures of men and stuff then blocks him permanently from the network. The entire thing is a logic bomb and the file responsible replaces explorer.exe. explorer.exe (original) is put into the alternate using ADS (Alternate Data Streaming) and another script replaces svchost.exe what that does is if the explorer.exe process is stopped it restarts it.
The file is replaced every time we boot into Linux under the username "Garron" (The person we hate). Also, our clock is off by say 2 hours 23 minutes and we have the files automatically installed via a bash file. Also at our school, there's a security hole only me and my friends know of that has over 100 GB of free, writable space. The program looks in that shared folder for a certain file so we can manually set it off. Also, we can see what the username is so we can block garron from ever logging on. The entire thing save for the bash file is written in AutoIt.
If we actually had the guts to do this we could actually pull it off.

Now this needs to be updated to make the firing better. I want it to actually move across the screen. Not just be points that hit whatever falls underneath it.

The main things I find similar to Red Alert is the stuff with the fog of war. In red alert there were buildings that created fog of war for the opposing players around your base and there were buildings that lifted all the fog of war off the map.

Cool that's good. This game sounds like a mixture of Star Craft and Red Alert. And that equals epic win.

Hey I have the same problem. I have 1.1. Is there any way to send it to the 84 emu even though it thinks it's a 89?

Dang. I was just going to ask this myself lol. A nes/snes emulator would be so epic! Ninja Gaiden FTW!
