i'm not good at details, so i'd need an assistant or just don't add me at all
It would be a team effort still, but the writers themselves will be in charge of making the story itself. This is so progress is made on the story and getting definitive results

willrandship, I think we should nominate the official writers of the story, since Camelot made a good point here: ... I don't see how concept art can be done yet as we don't even have a story nailed down, or a team developing the story/scenario yet. ...
Can we set up a poll and people who wish to be the official writers can apply? I think we should have 3 maybe 4 writers. I think so far who would be interested (and great for the job) are: Juju Me Pimath and Sorunome

But it was the coolest battlesystem ever. Only thing I would change is adding the ability to move your people around, for more tactics.
Yeong also has an excellent idea in mind as well. * Pokes Yeong Post it already

creating new page: just search for a non-existing page and there'll be a create page link.
That's what I'm talking about, it seems very unintuitive for me Anyways, it doesn't hurt to have two wiki's as long as they're both kept up to date. Could someone bring what I have here over? (In the same format, if possible) https://github.com/willrandship/Omnimaga-RPG/wiki/Storyline

The main thing it creating new pages seems unintuitive and I don't know the formatting options. The github one allows me to see the formatting stuff while editing the page.

* HOMER-16 wonders how many people would vote for him if he applied Probably not that many compared to who else is running Considering the recent explosion of activity on OmniRPG, when we start to get a working product we can make videos documenting it and showing it off?

I'm going to keep the github wiki updated at least. I don't know how to use MediaWiki

* HOMER-16 likes the github wiki looks better It also keeps the project together on a single site. Both code, and documentation. That wiki just looks like a single page We could always just make a wiki that looks more legit
He only linked it to the Storyline page There's more pages than that.

They are. I believe that they are words, I can modify the source though to only work in bytes (I *should* already have it implemented since I was planning on exporting AppVars with this program eventually)
If we have over 256 sprites, we can always have sprite pallets for different areas.

Cool, thanks. What format are the files saved in, by the way? I am assuming bytes doing rows first, then columns?
Yes, the format is <x, y, [data], [data], [data]... etc> Edit: I'll need to check if I still save the data in chars, however instead of ints. Or should we use ints?

When we initially make maps, it might be easier to make them on comp so you can see everything going on at once and not be constrained by the calc screen itself. I'll be using my own Tilemapper for this purpose, since it generates map files in a simple format Edit: I'll update my sig with my projects so people who want to use it, can find it

I personally like Yeong's idea he has going (It's unique) I also think elements from Chrono Cross's battle system could work well. For those of you who've never seen it (most likely everyone) here's a vid: Basically, all party members start off with 7 points. You have three melee attack options that cost 1, 2 or 3 points. more points, more power, less accuracy. If your attack lands, all other party members replenish that number of points up to 7. You also unlock that number of spell levels. To use a spell costs 7 points. If all your party members points get to 0 or below, the enemy automatically takes a turn and all points go back to 7. (There's a little more detail than that with the point system, but those are the basics)
