SFML and C++ are cross-platform, why is it Windows-only? I don't know if Spark is cross platform. If I am able to, I'll try to have a linux release.

Beyond calculus, you could go towards the CS route with Discrete mathematics and Data Structures.

It came from hell. Just listen to the torturous screams it evoked from Homer. No... Worse... I've looked into it's eyes..... I've seen it....

wait is that rome: total war? How do you "spread" your units?
It is To spread your units like that, you hold the left mouse button with the units selected and drag. If you use pikemen, the most optimal depth is about 4 rows, for hoplites it's 3 rows and for legionaries I find 5 -6 to work best. What I like is how the game sound quality is pretty good. A lot of LP/commentary vids for games have game sound recorded with the mic rather than via speakers with the voice recorded via mic.
I use Fraps which records the sound from the game automatically. I also send the sound to my headset speakers and have the music off so the mic only picks up my voice. When I made my first video, you could barely hear me over the music, lol.

Thanks for the feedback. Straight off, watch the mic peaking. You need to try to adjust you mic sensitivity or maybe scoot back a bit. You will sound much clearer. For some reason, the program I am using won't pick up my headset mic, but it will pick up my webcam mic. So I've been using that. I do have another mic that I've yet to try, however. It may also help you if you have something specific that you want to talk about to write out notes or an overview ahead of time of what you want to talk about. That can help keep you on track. Also keep in mind that longer isn't always better. People tend to have shorter attention spans, and sometimes quicker videos that show case something specific will keep people from getting bored and keep them coming back. I will definitely try to prepare some notes. Sometimes when I do have something specific to talk about, I either go too off on a tangent, or I'll sound awkward trying to say it at an inopportune time. Most of these videos are live multiplayer videos, however so I don't have much control over how long they take. if they go too long, then I'll usually scrap them or redo it in a replay video.

So I've recently started making commentary videos for a game series I play called Total War. I have no previous experience making videos period, so I'd like to ask for your opinions on some of my videos and how I could improve upon them. Like do I ramble too much? Am I understandable? Are the videos too long? Here's the latest video I've posted: And this is my channel if anyone's interested. http://www.youtube.com/user/s1ay3r44

I just wrote this. It's not really a poem, but this is the best fitting thread.
Split
I can help you
You can't help me
Why not? I can give you peace. Endless bliss
I can't... I would disappoint too many people
Don't think of them. When you're with me, they don't exist
They do
I can give you all you want. Everything you've dreamed of
It's too easy... I can't
It'd just be you, me, and an endless world in a padded cell
No, I must take resposibility
Just give up. Give yourself to me and never worry
I. Must. Take. Responsibility
Well then. When you fail, you know where to find me
I won't fail
Hehe, we'll talk again
[/end]
I feel like this quite a lot. It just, seems so easy. Just to let go of reality, live where ever and however you want. After all, all reality is is what we perceive, is it not? Luckily I only get like this when I'm very tired, like I am now.
