Computer Projects and Ideas / Re: Tile-Cat Map Editor« on: May 02, 2012, 12:30:41 pm »I shall take a look at this when I have some time. Does it support dynamic tiles btw? Like tiles that change themselves? No. Not currently, though you could easily build that functionality into the engine by manipulating the map data directly from within your game. I'm going to look into isometric maps over the summer and try my hand at those for a bit I want to expand this project more ^^ 978

Art / Re: Some of my art« on: April 30, 2012, 12:49:11 pm »Looks pretty nice HOMER. I also like how it's drawn by hand The ones I do by hand are always my favorite, since I have more control over the curves and shapes I often ask this, but I wonder what other people could make if they tried this style. The concept is pretty easy, the different shapes fit in with eachother, but never touch. 980

Art / Re: Some of my art« on: April 29, 2012, 11:39:28 pm »I actually enjoy art like this... it let's the viewer use their imagination to see things that other people wouldn't normally see... not to mention I find abstract designs like these very cool. Nice work Thanks! I usually ask others what they see in them and some of the things they find, I never even considered. It's quite surprising, actually. 982

Hadean... I like that name

I'm a bit of an artist, lol. Tell me what you think.
What I find is that these work like ink blots where different people see different things in them. Here's what I see for exapmle: 1. A fish 2. A Tau Empire Helmet 3. Hands holding a ball of energy 4. Flowers What do you see? 988

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: General Decrease in Omnimaga Activity - What can we do?« on: April 26, 2012, 12:10:59 am »Quote @HOMER-16 the requirement from the days I was still admin were to always keep your 30 day posting average equal or higher to 10 (or 5 during Summer), outside the spam/humor/intro sections, but seeing how Michael_Lee, Yunhua98 and z80man got away with it for months now, maybe it changed. Also you need to have a project upon joining (it can be computer, calcs or music, although one of the first two is recommended). I'll only become more active during the summer or at least remain at the same level of lurking. I think if we do start to branch out towards computer development more, I'll definitely be very active there. 990
