Kevin is alright I talked to him and he said he just needs time to think but I think we all have learned never to do anything like this again(Kevin can do a joke but I think amybe next time if we were more respectful that would be for the better)

That sounds sweet so you would easily be able to make a map with rising floors and switches?? or will you have to hardcode it without a map editor?

3fg don't take your anger out on one person because if you are going to take it out on him then you have to take it out on #tigcc too, there are many people you can point the finger at that have all added to this consequence and it is not cool just to make another person leave for another one to stay we are all humans and our feelings can get hurt online just as they can in real life

Yes it is very hard to see Kevin go but I think it has been a long time coming with not just this instance but many other one's where Kevin has felt attacked so rivereye it is not only your fault he left it was many people in the community including me I think(refer to my first post in this forum thread)
And yea I was never mad at xlibman for this cause I didn't know he did it I thought some hacker did it and a I was about to ebeathisbutt haha my humor sucks
Who is gonig to be there when nobody is posting on their foruma about there game. Who is going to lift their spirits up so a great game can be made, cause I know myself that Kevin was always their for anybody no mattetr what

I'm running into some interesting problems with my very first 16x16 RPG because I have the person moving on a 8x8 grid so that it is a more walking feel but at sometimes the person is in 2 matrix positions at once and it is hard to make a fast checking routine for this because it is not linear checking if you know what I mean

Yes he did trick us but it was hard to concentrate with those names and it lasted for a week I think or at least it seemed it did. I don't think xlibman should leave.
EDIT: Stop thinking of the bad timese look at the good times like the forum for thanking xlibman...remember that...it seemed like people cared about you a whole lot in that forum and called you a legend in BASIC programming so the only talking about your work that I have heard was good talking and also in the other forum Wtf? Alex was right no one made attacks on you personally
EDIT(I don't want to double post): Yeah at first I was like haahha someone hacked omnimaga but then it dragged on with people posting in forums answering me and I didn't even know who it was then the pictures went later on and I had to go by sigs which was very hard overall Kevin you can make your decision but I don't think that it is people are quick to say your wrong I think you are quick to say people are saying your wrong
EDIT:(last time):It is very saddening to me thought to go to school then come on omnimaga and find out that one of the people that got me started programming 83+'s two years ago si leaving. Well 8th period has ended ill be leaving now

@tr1p: Yes walking engines are the funnest to make and this was the first one that I made But all that fun will end when I finish the demo cause then it is back to the sprites, sprites, and more sprites

has anyone found the problem cause this is rele getting me pretty ticked because I can't tell who is posting unless I remeber their sig because all the photos dont show either on my comp
EDIT: I just noticed I said almost the same thing as Liazon over top of me without looknig at his post hahahaha anyways don't really like this halloween joke and luckily I figured out it was one because I was starting to not come back to omnimaga because of how annoying it was

@liazon: It displaysthe sprite but when moving it xor's over itself and then creates a black blob of the figure and yes it compiled correctly
@necro: as stated before I can not implement some of the ideas in basic ASCII as I can in xlib so when you say a substansive amount of coding well then I don't know what to tell you but I have gotten part of the engine to work and that would be much apreciated if I could recieve some sprites from you
sprite specs: 188x30 b/w monster-ish(rele loose on this just don't make it look like a person)
