TI Z80 / ebook z80
« on: October 12, 2006, 01:04:00 pm »
Srry I haven't been here just problems anyways to answer some questions the TI-83+ can hold technically around 24000 chars in RAM but for ebook z80 it will read the programs from the archive with no need for putting them in the RAM and yes I have started on this project and a type of notefolio will be included in this APP anything else that anyone one wants me to attempt to put in please post it no matter how ridiculous cause maybe I could do it

@Cure: Thanks for the support and yes I may have something that I can't figure out!!

offtopic: If you didnt get that joke in my first post, they called the Motorola processor 68K because it has approx. 68,000 transitors and the z80 only has 876 so that's why it's .876K yea

TI Z80 / ebook z80
« on: October 09, 2006, 03:33:00 pm »
This is not written in 68k but rather in .876k(z80 lol) anyways to the point I was thinking of making an ebook reader for 83+ family and was wondering if anyone would use it.

Description:
Compile book on the computer then send the program to the calculator then use ebook reader to read the stories on the go so you don't have to carry eighty books but one calculator and ebook reader would include a nifty gui like the 68K version with pages and chapters

Alex don't do that cause #tigcc is like a group of 5 programmers not the whole 68k community think of all the good people that created the FAT engine, excitebike, ice hockey, sum wrestling, voxel engine, katringz all of them

your site is cool by the way Alex I like that project you working on with the racing game and your the one that made me want to use SDL :)smile.gif

If I make a BASIC to C compiler it won't be able to utlize all the functions to their full potential and also it would only be 94 by 62 so I think that some C knowledge with SDL will still be required
