I was thinking one day about making a 3d game in TI 83+ BASIC with Xlib, and I have some ideas on how to move the 3d objects but I don't have the equations, so I was wondering if someone could help me find a way to draw a cube and rotate it in all four ways.

yea that's another thing that I hate about the the xlib getkey I think it is because it uses "getcsc" or however you spell it instead of "getkey"

Bad news: My old engine got erased Bad news: Spent the whole day making a new one Bad news: Found the old engine on my comp after I made the new one Good news: The new one is faster with the Xlib getkey not TI-OS
So later on I will post some screenies showing the difference in speed

Dude this happens to me but I just plug the USB part into my calc first then into the PC. Then select the files to send to the calc. After this something will come up about a USB select and it will say no ti device found, but then you pull the USB part connected to ur calc out and put it back in then click refresh and then it should come up if not repeat until it does. This always works for me.

I want something where you can set an interupt say like real(15 or sumthin and then do grayscale like ASM with the interupt or is that not possible?? Cause that would be cool if BASIC could make games like Desolate

Nah that wasn't harsh I agree with you 100% it's way harder because pre-Xlib I used to make pure BASIC games then Xlib came out and I was like I'm not using that because it's not ASM but then one day I just gave in and now I'm addicted but I think this is gonna make me port Galactic to pure BASIC

Dude that looks pretty cool. That's very original but I would use Xlib to make more killer graphics unless you want to use pure basic but that game looks promising I would keep up the work.

Yea ur right thats why at this point you wouldn't use the rutine just like any other one like RLE if you don't have 3 run lengths or LZW if there are no words repeated

I know but thats what this program is for so you don't have to do that and you can send 5 2000 byte strings(40 matrices) without the hassle of putting 40 matrices into programs
