Yeah haha I have gotten in trouble for my basic animations too. Mines aren't even graphic, but supposedly it's a rule that you can't have students names in the programs even if they are showing them in a good light. Oh well I will miss you.

wow I am amazed. Anyways no Fallen_Ghost was not saying that jr (a) is a valid instruction he was simply trying to prove a point of why it was not self-explanatory. He was saying hey why wouldn't jr (a) work. That is all.

Panit.NET is actually very good. I use it for all my photo editing needs. I feel the GIMP was too hard to get use to. But with Paint.NET it is just MS Paint but with all the features of a powerful photo editor. It still stays true to MS Paint with its ease-of-use so that is why I use it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great free image editing program. 593
There really are no similarites between this and DCS and the folder icon that Delnar posted is not the DCS folder icon. Also as I have stated before none of this is final.
@Super_Speler: Of course grayscale libs are going to be in there. I am making the shell code as small as possible but still functional, so that all the libraries you need can fit on one page. @Liazon: Yes there will be key combos @everyone else: Post any ideas you want this basically is a Shell made by the people of the community. 595

Updated the list. Status of Xlib was changed and Nostromo 3D engine was kicked to the road.

Although I agree with you on that lolje look at the programs before it. Those programs are far more innovative than Xlib. Those bring a new era to the 83+ calculator community. So although I don't like the position Xlib is in I have to keep it there.

Yeah Delnar these are not final icons or anything like that. But if you have any 16x16 folder icons laying around feel free to post them. I am not the best at pixel art.
@Liazon: Yes this is like the 89t App menu. First off bfr suggested it so kudos to him and second off I just love the configuration and how simple and easy it is to use. And of course functions like scrolling 1 page or 2 pages at a time will be included and the program/folder names will be sorted. Just a thought I have been having is that I may include a mouse cursor that is OPTIONAL. So you could either use the standard way or use the mouse. It will all be customizable even to the 18x18 sprite that xor's over the icons. So this should turn out very good. 598
Computer Projects and Ideas / Several Anouncements« on: April 28, 2007, 08:03:00 pm »
Wow this game looks great. It reminds me of Gears of War but in 2D. I would love if you could add some massive scary looking monsters that like have terrifying screams and stuff. If not I guess I will have to start my own Gamemaker game j/k (although I may be serious). Anyways great job on the aesthetics I love the grityness :thumb:

Here is a NexGenGS mockup of what it will look like and function like. As you can see I have taken what bfr has asked and implemented it in this mockup.
The Mockup Explained: The program icon and name that is inverted is the program attributes that are displayed in the top bar. It's Archive status, lock status, and size. You move the cursor around over the programs and folders with the arrow buttons. The X and the bottom of the screen means you can't scroll down anymore. The arrow at the top of screen means that you can scroll up more. Oh and that dropdown button with the NexGenGS logo is a secret. Ssshhhhh... More info on that later... |
