I love when friends start programming. It is like a race to impress each other and it really gets you pumped when they say "You that's cool" or when they show you a cool game. I absolutely love that feeling

I don't know I always wanted to do animation and try to find and efficient and size wise way of doing it. But animations always get unwieldy and big, but I would love to help. Is this a sprite based movie or ascii

Ok new idea I am just throwing it out there. But everybody knows after release that people don't just go and update their programs at the drop of a dime. So what if you could expand NexGenGS libraries with your own code that other people could use to?!?! Basically im thinking of it like this. NexGenGS has an expansion handler. It will allocate the libraries accordingly and keep a table of where they are. Then people wanting to develop libraries would make their code and then make a jump table and an include file that holds offsets to the routines. Then the program using these libaries would have a table that has the offset. The program would then query NexGenGS for an offset to the given libraries and the program would add that to all the offsets so then they could call the routines. So what do you think I haven't written/ironed out these plans but I plan on it. Oh and the libraries would be in appvars.

Ummm you can disassemble the calc OS. You can disassemble your favorite application or any program on your calculator. It can help you out with doing assembly, And I think you can edit character sets on it but I am not sure. I started a disassembly of Xlib, but 20 lines in decided to call it quits. But Iambian did a full disassembly of MirageOS source code.

These algorithms are not made for 68K although they may work on it I don't know. But I made these because there is a toupper() and tolower() that converts the character to upper or lowercase respectivly. Some what about strings?? Well I made a routine for it. Here you go. It all depends on if the 68K ASCII table is standard. If it is then this will work on it. If it is not then this will not work on it. c1--> CODE | ec1 /* This will convert a string consisting of all, none or mixed cases of letters to uppercase. Note that it will not convert any characters other than alphabet characters */ char touppers( char string[] ) {

I hope to meet a lot of people in the community. Especially all of omnimaga, im_e, spencer, nanowar, timendus, kv83, and Madskillz. I think we should hold a TI Convention in Pennsylvania. If anyone is coming near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US then please tell me. I want to meet you!!

How can you possibly be too into it. The dissection explains things in a pretty rational way. Also I think its better that they let the consoles soak it up. I mean wasn't that what GTA was first built for and thats why they let PS2 soak up the sales and then a year later release the xbox version because they didn't have that fat contract yet from m$?? Plus who did you talk to that works at rockstar??? Is he involved in GTA IV development?
[offtopic] its amazing how many people calc community people know [/offtopic]

First off the links http://www.rockstargames.com/IV/http://forums.gametrailers.com/showthread.php?t=83880Trailer is the actual trailer and the dissection is analyzing everything in it. Also is it possible this won't be named Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar just keeps using the IV. And check out the dissection it will blow your mind. There are so many people and details and good looking graphics the game looks stunning. A guy driving a convertible is seen fixing his rear view mirror??!!?!? People are reading papers. Kids are playing. Construction workers are working. And did I tell you how big the city is. Massive is the only word to describe it. Every little detail has been thought out. The game is amazing just check the trailer for proof.
