Well then I can't really help you. One thing I would recommend is maybe CIB by kalan_vod, or translating all the values from the matrix into a string. That would drastically decrease the size. I could probably whip up a program that converts a matrix into a string, and converts a string into a matrix. Although if you did not have decimals in your matrix, I could probably set you up with a better compression rate. Oh, well I will experiment more with it tonight.

Yes, I would have liked a little bit more of a description. Just to know what it is...,but I guess I will download it and try it out either way, because I too am curious since it seems to have recieved good reviews from others here at Omnimaga.

Ah, that's cool. So basically, yeah, it is only the timer and lib commands, and a new GetCalc that are added.

Wow, that picture is amazing. o.o Keep up the good work grendel. @Liazon: I think I will do a bit of coding over thanksgiving because I will be doing nothing. I will keep the SVN updated with notes, or Issues updated with changes, etc.

LMAO
I don't know why in TI's right mind they would put an LCD driver in it. That would suck.
Either way, if C is released for the Nspire, or a compiler is somehow made, then I think the first business at hand is to port ClosedGL!

Well if you learn C optimization, then you basically are learning 68k Assembly optimizations. It wouldn't hurt to write this in assembly, mind you that even some PS3 games utilize assembly regularly in their games. It is almost a standard know these days that you need to have an idea of assembly on the system your working on. Overall I would 68k assembly should only be used when you know you can make something better, or when it is very time crucial. I used to have a link to an ~82 page PDF file that talked about all the possible memory and speed optimizations that could be done in C..., if I find it I will post it. It has been very helpful to me. @ATG: Ewww, zombie! * Halifax

Wow CDI's engine is pretty cool. Has anyone seen calc84maniac's 3D engine that used raycasting in BASIC. o.o Although it only ran at about 1 FPS it was still a great BASIC achievement.

Haha, wow. And yes I have some advice for you on compressing. The only question I have is does it contain decimal values, and does it have any numbers over 999 or under 0?

THE POST 13531753 Wow, Ranman that's cool! I am glad you aren't "coding on an impulse", and are actually planning this.
Hmm...also not to bother, but I think the Ultima V engine would be great to study. Even if you don't intend on release the stand-alone engine, then I would be greatly appreciative if the source was released.

THE POST 13531748 Yeah, that could be quite possible. Too bad the airline tickets are too much. >.> or I would be going to Florida. This post has been edited by Halifax on 20 Nov, 2007, 19:41

THE POST 13529968 Haha, yeah, Delnar has always been a thorough beta tester...even when not asked. So far I like how Agre of Culture II is progressing though, keep up the good work.

Haha, it seems as though ATG has been dubbed the FPS master. And a calc FPS? in basic I am assuming, and with xLIB? Hmm, I want to see this. Maybe a new, and somewhat fast(like the picture recalling) engine will come out of this.
