good idea, but then it should be "Item auswählen mit hoch/runter" (it is missing item IMO and auswählen is 2 chars smaller :D)
Yours is too long, but chickendude's fits. So thanks both of you (you got a +1 each ^^).
w0000t!
And mine is longer only because of no monospace font, right? >.<
I think it is more because you added "Item " at the beginning of the sentence, so you saved 2 chars but also added 5 ones, so at the end you lost 3 chars. And yeah, the font is not monospaced, so maybe the space after the "Item" doesn't waste a lot of pixels, but the "m" wastes a lot unfortunately.

In fact it was not even a hobby at the beginning. It was just me unable to have what I want (sometimes I don't find it in stores, sometimes my parents say "no") so I do it myself. This is the exact same thing that led me to programming, my parents telling me they won't buy me a GameBoy and me (years later) programming it on the thing I have that looks most like a GameBoy.
But yeah, I agree that sometimes I built things I didn't really want, just for the sake of it, like the tank.

  • A negative feature: remove the confirmation on setting shortcuts? I don't think I've ever accidentally hit any of those shortcuts, so the confirmation seems a bit unnecessary to me. If you do want to keep them in, though, it wouldn't bother me much. But if you do, can you display some text between "Confirm" and "Set" (perhaps "Working..." or "Setting...")? On my calculator, the option setting/saving process takes about 4 seconds. It may take a non-trivial amount of time on others' calculators as well, and during this time, the calculator appears frozen.
I think that this is more in case you opened the "prgm" menu to look for a program, then think "lulz me stupid, I have set a shortcut for that one" then you try and do the shortcut without quitting the "prgm" menu (That already happened to me, and I really thought "lulz me stupid, I have set a shortcut for that one" afterwards).

I lol'd at the one becoming purple and at the one with all its lights on yellow. I'm actually fairly sure that there would be less accidents with such lights. People would always be like "dafuq should I do", slow down and pass when they can, but they would never pass when they shouldn't (like passing at yellow or at red).

@annoyingcalc: at least the ones you described fit in a pocket. I wouldn't mind your 1DS to come out (but lol, your 0DS is a bit unusable).

@DJ_O, I never heard of one. Maybe there was games using only sound on "regular" consoles too, but I still have never heard of them if any.

@Hayleia: As I said before, your stuff is fantastic! You really have a great sense for designing these sort of things. That transformer is great too! :D Have you taken any sort of art classes or considered going to an art school?
Nope, I've never taken any art class. This is why I had to ask my sister to draw Buzz's face (I can't even copy a drawing on the internet).
And I never considered going to an art school. First of all, my parents would never have let me lol. Also, I don't know if what I do fits in such a class. I mean that I mainly craft toys that I can't get (I never could find a Buzz Lightyear that was articulated enough for my liking in stores), not for their beauty nor because I like crafting them.

But thanks for the compliment, I really appreciate it ^^

Thanks all ^^

And thanks Sorunome for that beginning of a translation. Unfortunately, "hoch/runter um Item zu selektieren" is indeed too long. But as I said, it is not a problem if it is not a sentence, so could you try translating "up/down to select" if that helps fitting in one line ?
Also, do I have to put the "ver" in "links/rechts zum (ver)kaufen" ?

BETA

So, I am working on the new shop, and it includes more text. So could german-speaking people translate the following into German ?
"Potion"
"SuperPotion"
"HyperPotion"

"Elixir"
"MaxElixir"

"PokeBall"
"SuperBall"
"HyperBall"

"Revive"
"Escape Rope"

"Use up/down to select item." *
"Use left/right to sell/buy." *

*Those sentences must fit in one line. You can cut them down to "up/down to select" and "left right to buy" if their translations are too long

And I won't of course bump that topic without letting you know my latest work. See screenie of the new shop and the Potion working (I only tested the Regular Potion, not Super nor Hyper but I guess they work too). Regular Ball works too, but my SaveGame is not advanced enough for me to try the other balls (yeah, I could hack it, ...). OTHER OBJECTS ARE NOT TESTED (not coded in fact, I just put the If in place but nothing in it) SO I CAN'T TELL WHAT THEY DO.
Free beta to test available for download (don't know why "free", the final version will of course be free too, but I felt like writing "free"). Like always, use at your own risk (even though I don't think you'll risk a lot). No new appvar so I don't give a full zip. If you don't have the requiered appvars, go to the first post and download the latest version that is not a beta.

So let me get this straight: no 3d and it cant be closed with a 2 screen design? No thanks. Sounds like a piece of junk.

Yes, I'm quoting myself. :P It appears that the above statement is exactly what this thing is. This makes no sense to me at all. It's big and ugly, and there's no way in hell it's fitting in any of my pockets. It certainly isn't fitting into the pockets of anyone under seven years of age... (Nintendo's stated target demorgraphic for this device). This is supposed to be "portable" right? It also has a smaller screens than the 3ds XL, so that would contribute to eystrain much more than 3d imo.

I see this thing being a huge flop for Nintendo. I honestly can't see them selling many of these. I'm really quite confused by the direction they're trying to take here.
Yeah, if it was just a 3DS with no 3D, maybe I would have had a look at it. But its design (can't close it) makes it unusable for me. I'd rather pay 30€ more and be able to carry a 3DS with 3D disabled.

If you want a "better" MemKit Axiom, Jacobly made one here that sorts the list by alphabetical order. You use it the same way you would use the "normal" MemKit.
Also, instead of putting "bytes" at the beginning, put a string (which is bytes at the end) and test it with Equ>String.

I like thos Hayleia. Some reminds me old Transformers I had as kid :)
Funny, you talking about Transformers when I have this:

A lot less beautiful than the other ones but much more complicated too. I never managed to make a good looking Transformer.

Ha, yeah, those are nice!
And they are smaller than i thought :P
In fact, they are small because in case I made the whole Star Wars universe (one can dream...), I would have liked it to fit in my room.

I don't see the problem with the 60 and the 75, but around 75, I see "572,571,572" and that indeed is weird.

edit I see what you mean, there is the same problem around 60. I thought you meant "60 and 75 are inverted", not "there are problems around 60 and 75".

Well I don't know how hard/easy it is but CrabCake has yet to be ported to the CSE. Also, size is not much of an issue on the CSE so a 2-pages app is not a problem.

Don't even ask how i manage to fiddle around with such small stuff ^^
I don't ask, I always work with tiny stuff. Maybe you don't see it in my pictures because there is no reference for the size, but the models I built are really small, except the Assassin and Buzz LightYear. Here is another image with my CX CAS on it so you can see how small they are.

And another thing why star wars is good: due to the great variaty there are tons of difficulty levels :)
Well, for PaperCraft there might be difficulty levels, but since I don't have pre-made plans when I build my things, I don't have difficulty levels either.
