Thanks. And yeah, Star Wars is a really good subject for creating objects, there are a lot of spaceships and vehicles and characters, ...

Nice ones !
The only time I ever did papercraft was when I was looking for the design of the Millenium Falcon before building it, and I stumbled upon a guide to make a Millenium Falcon with a bus ticket. So I tried that for the fun.

Also, harry potter is awesome :P
Lol yeah, I didn't know how to call that sticky band and I remembered they call it "Spellotape" in Harry Potter books, so I just wrote Spellotape. Google Translate says "Scotch tape" but "Scotch" seems like the name of a brand to me.
Well, with normal speeking (in german at least) you use all the time brand names like for tissue.
Well I actually says "Scotch" in French (because it is shorter than "ruban adhésif"), but I didn't know it was the same in English. And yeah, some people says "Kleenex" instead of "tissue" here too.

A while ago, on a topic I don't remember the name, I showed one of my creations, it was a X-Wing (and people complained about the wrong decorations lol). Art of Camelot asked me to make a topic about my creations but I somehow forgot about it, and I only remember now that I see Sorunome's topic, even though mine is not "only" papercraft.

Of course I don't show here all of my creations because it would take too much space, so I only show the ones I think are the best.
And of course, please excuse any English mistake I can make.

Let's start easy, with a tank.

Not really impressive, is it ? Everyone can do this. But this is why I like this one so much, because of its quotient "easy/beautiful".

Then the X-Wing you may have already seen.

As people already said, the decorations are wrong (especially the sticker in front of the cockpit), but at this time, I had red spellotape (sorry, I am reading Harry Potter right now) and I just liked to use it. As for the wrong logo, I just put the one I could remember being in Star Wars even though it is not at all the right one.

Still with Star Wars, an AT-TE Walker.

Its feet are damaged but it is still great in my opinion. You may have spotted the hole on top of it. This is because a humanoid and an astromech droid can be placed inside, like a clone and R2-D2 for example (yes, this thing is meant to be R2-D2).

Yet another Star Wars vehicle. The Millenium Falcon.

You surely understood that logic is not the best part of my creations, and this is why you can put the AT-TE inside the Falcon.
And that is not the only thing you can put inside, you can open the Falcon to have access to a room.

Don't ask me why the General Grievous was in there. And you may have spotted the clone in the pilot cockpit.

Now, without any form of transition, let's Goto Assassin's Creed. So here is... an Assassin -.-

As you could have told by yourself, it is not finished. But it is still articulated in the hips and knees (and arms once they are there).

And nooooow... my masterpiece (for now, none of my finished projects outpass this one). Buzz LightYear !

I know what you're thinking: "not fat enough". And do you know what I'm thinking ? "I don't care !"
Articulated in the shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers (yes, fingers), hips, knees and ankles (yes, ankles).

(that brass wire you can see on his foot is only there to have it pose while I take the photo, not there otherwise).

Well, that's it. Of course you are allowed to comment, and if you have creations too, you can share them on this topic or in one of yours.

I can see that those who wrote this surely knew what they were talking about. I'll use their advice for sure.

Well, since you didn't say what you used the getKey for, we can't really tell how to improve your input. A For loop helps sometimes and doesn't some other times.
For example, if you want F1 to increment {L1+1}, F2 to increment {L1+2}, ... F5 to increment {L1+5}, then you can see the For loop appear by itself.
But if the actions od the keys are really different, maybe using some ElseIf is better. Just learn how to optimize the ElseIf.

If A=0

ElseIf A=1

ElseIf A=2

ElseIf A=3

ElseIf A=4

End

can be optimized as

!If A

Else!If -1

Else!If -1

Else!If -1

Else!If -1

End

could you answer the last question a little les complexly;  sorry I don't understand what you are trying to say.
He meant that, to know if the calc received the file, you can:
-check if the calc has a popup saying "File received" or something (and if it doesn't say that, go to step two)
-check in your documents if the file you sent is present in the folder you sent it to

I only notice the ezportal thing now that you mention it lol.
But I still think the white text is readable on the dark blue background.
That doesn't really matter anyway, most people (non-admin people) don't scroll down in the uploader, so they won't notice if the rectangle hits the bottom of the page or not.

It fits Omnimaga's theme better now indeed.
Just something that strikes me: the light blue rectangle (as I'll call it) touches the bottom of the page, while on the forums, that rectangle doesn't (there is "Powered by SMF..." under it, on the dark blue background).
So maybe it would fit the theme better if you moved "Uploader is written by Deep Thought // Hosted by Sorunome" out of the light blue rectangle and out it under it instead (note, that is just my feeling, not a request or anything).

Sorry for my question if it is stupid, but what do you time your solvings with to get so much precision ?

Also, that doesn't solve any problem, but you may want to check the Fill command out instead of using a For loop to set a bunch of bytes at 0.
Now your code seems to work on Wabbit (once I put the quotes at the right place), I don't see any problem, it displays a 1 then zeroes.
Also be sure that the appv is the appv token, and not a "a" followed by a "p", ...

1. Is there any way to detect if the user has unarchived programs?
Yes, through the VAT, but that is not really needed.
What you want is basically to know if you have enough RAM for your program to run, right ?
Then use the same GetCalc command that is used in the tutorial. You'll see that it returns when you try to create an appvar if it could not be created (because of lack of RAM). So just do your code like that (where I use random names for variables):

GetCalc("appvNAME",Size)→P
!If
 Disp "Not Enough RAM"
 Return
End
<then the rest of the program>

And you can be more precise in your "Not Enough RAM" message, telling the user to archive variables, or the exact amount of RAM needed...

Usually, when the user archives everything, there are more than 20 KB of RAM on the calc.
-If you compile your code as an app, it will be run from Flash and you'll have those 20 KB all for your appvar.
-If you compile your code as a program, it will be run from RAM (even if you "run it from archive" with a shell, in fact it will be copied to RAM) and the RAM available for your appvar will be the 20KB-size_of_the_program.

Another efficient compression method is the one deeph and chickendude showed me. Basically, it is RLE, but with a special treatment for isolated tiles. The only downside is that it only works if you have less than 128 tiles.
So, when you have 8 instances of a 4, you just put a 8 followed by a 4 in your data, and you just used 2 bytes for 8 bytes of data, so you saved space.
But when you have 1 instance of a 4, putting a 1 followed by a for would use 2 bytes for 1 byte of data. So instead of that, you'll store 4+128 (basically a 4 but with an extra bit at the "beginning").
And now, to uncompress, you just have to look at the first bit:
-if it's 0, treat the two bytes like RLE compressed data
-if it's 1, then put one instance of the byte (and don't forget to retrieve 128 from it).
