That's the creepiest picture I've seen.
false. You haven't seen goatse/tubgirl/etc. (Don't.)
Well if he hasn't seen them, then that's the creepiest picture he's ever seen, so you can't say "false". * Hayleia runs And I agree with the fact that picture is creepy.

Will hiding them fix the speed issue? I know that on the TI-84+, when programs are locked and not visible from the EDIT menu, there is a massive lag when moving the cursor from one program to another below 50+ locked programs. Of course, the Nspire is a different calc, but since TI still coded it, who knows? >.< I never ever tried any file management tool for the TI-Nspire.
Yes it works. Basically because "hiding" a program on a z80 calc was about hiding it from the users, not displaying them, but they still were in the "list of present programs". But on a Nspire, HideManager doesn't only hide the program from the user, it moves the program to a place that is not checked by the OS when displaying the My Documents" menu. So it is not only hidden, but also not parsed, which makes displaying faster. (As an example, I moved all my GBA games with HideManager and I saved 9 seconds).

Anyways, great work Compu, that will surely help people installing their programs. I think there should be (if not already present) a way to decide if the installation is done in a specified folder (for in-dev programs that still don't support to be in any folder or don't support their dependencies to be in random folders, or for programs that must be in startup) or in a folder that the user would choose (for programs that can be run from any folder and that the user would like to put in the Game folder for example).
Thanks! Selecting a folder should be pretty easy to add.
Sorry, I may have used too much parentheses or used a not understandable enough English, so there is a part of my request that you didn't see. -I was indeed asking for a "folder selection menu" or something. -But also a way for developers to force the "unpacking folder", so that a program that must be put in "startup" will always be put in startup (doesn't ask the user where to unpack), or so that a program that is still in-dev and that must be ran from the Ndless folder (and nowhere else) will be unpacked in the Ndless folder.

I use my Cube as a relaxing element (flushing my though-flow into oblivion), amidoinrite?
That is a good argument. I also thought of another: when boredom gets you, get a Cube (even though that works for other things than Cubes).

Will you do the same for other calculator models?
Not sure it is a good idea. Take the example of the 83+ (and sorry if I take the examples of my games but those are the ones I think of first). -To install RainbowDashAttack, you have to send one file. No need for a package installer. -For Pokemon Topaze, you have to send tons of files. It is not really hard to put them all in archive as the readme says, but maybe you're right, it is easier to put one file in archive. However, that would make a 40KB installer installing 40KB of data. Maybe the installer would "only" take 10KB with utopic-style compression, but that is still 10KB, and in a 83+, that is a lot, so not a good idea. -other problem: you'll have to compile your installer as an app if you want a lot of data to fit in, and that is not the easiest format to deal with. I think the Nspire was "chosen" because it (usually) has enough space to support the installer, the package and the installed program at the same time. that could work for the Prizm too I guess.
Anyways, great work Compu, that will surely help people installing their programs. You're saying exactly the same thing as my mother.
Lol, should I be happy that you compare me to your mother or not ? Note: the answer's I'll write below in italics are not what I think, they are just opposed arguments to Streetwalker's arguments.
Speed solving requires a lot of practice so you still have some hard work.
Not really an argument. Someone "against" Rubik's Cubes would tell you that you just said that it was wasting a lot of time. Also it's a nice trick to amaze noobs.
There are other ways to amaze people than solving a Cube. For example, I could do a knot with a cord and undo it (same thing than messing a Cube then putting it back together).
So yeah, I am not saying that you are wrong, nor than the person I just imitated is right, just that your arguments didn't really convinced me (and the arguments of the person I imitated didn't convince me either, there is quite a difference between a cord and a Cube). And nothing prevents you from trying to get headaches and create you own algorithms.
This is what I would (try to) do if I ever went into Rubik's Cube, because that would be interesting (but I wouldn't manage).

work your freidrich method and start to learn vanderberg harris methode
That's why I don't get the point of Rubik's Cubes. Is it all about learning a method found by a genius without being a genius yourself, then showing off about your ability to apply what you learnt ? At least that is how I see Rubik's Cube solving for now, so if there is more than it, tell me, because for now I don't get it. edit this post is not meant to be mean, I just don't get the point of Rubik's Cubes and I am asking people why they use their Cubes. But if you still find my post rude, I won't get upset if I get downrated.

That doesn't really answer the problem, it's more of a workaround, but maybe you could, instead of "detecting the calc", add a "settings" option in the menu under which there would be a "calibrate greyscale" option that would set and save an adapted value for the contrast in an appvar ?

Maybe because of the hardware revision ? It must be written somewhere in that thread the Pokemon games only work on old revisions. Well, with the latest releases, they work on newer revisions too but there was a problem, like "can't save" or something.

5498 : You played a little calc game during Baccalauréat (final exams of 15 school years)
Complete true story, I played Chess by thepenguin most of the time. But I was losing at that game (yes, chess noob, I know) so I still came back to the exam every 10 minutes or so.

Ah. Well that would require sprite resizing or a lot of sprite data so I don't think I'll plan that (also the fact I would have to recode everything in a less easy way to say the least; even though not so hard since I already have this kind of point of vue in KoFiX).

(You said in other topics that you have a 84+, but not everyone read every topic, so it's good reminding here that the games you are looking for must be running on a 84+).

What do you mean with 3D ? Like first-person view ? or evolving in a 3D world instead of a 2D one ? or both ?

Yeah, I am necroposting, but I have three reasons for that: -that discussion is interesting -it's been a year (hence the necropost) so people's computer may have changed so they might want to update their specs -I got my laptop so I can post something here while I couldn't before (well I could have posted the specs from the desktop, but I have absolutely no idea what's in there)
So, my laptop: GPU: Geforce GTX 780M 4Go Screen: 15.6" FullHD 1920x1080 LED CPU: Intel® i7-4700MQ 4x2 cores 2.4 to 3.4GHz, 6Mo cache, Video GT2 HD4600 VT-x 47Watts (Haswell) RAM: DDR3 Sodimm 8Go (can be extended to 32Go but I don't need those for now) HardDrive1: Samsung SSD 840 Pro Series 128Go HardDrive2: unknown brand, but 1To and 7200rpm
(also, excuse me if I made any mistake on the name of something, or any other English mistake).

Using multiple monitors is cool, but isn't 6 a bit too much? You can't possibly watch them all at the same time , can you?
Yes you can, just watch the second monitor on the bottom row, it shows all the other ones.
