and iOS?
You want to emulate a closed platform on a closed platform ? :P

Jokes aside, if this ever comes out, I'd be glad to have an offline version since my Android device is almost never connected to the internet (in other words, it is not a phone).

HOMING ROCKETS :w00t:
Glad to see you renamed them :P

don't forget to update prgmIKRGLVLS each time I post one XD this program holds all of the levels data !
Why do you put that in a program and not in an appvar ? Because I personnally find annoying to see levels of games in the program list while they could be elsewhere, like levels for Mario for example. In other words, I like to have only executables and sources in my program list. For example, imagine that all of the Pokemon appvars were programs, that would be unbearable :P

With all those amazing releases, I am surprised that ExtendeD doesn't have a post rating higher than his post count yet... O.O
Jacobly is closer to that in fact :P

Not sure if this counts, but would "Legand of Zelda: Sord of Atari" (sic) be a valid example of game that is hard to 100%? I made the game myself and I can't even beat the 1st dungeon O.O (it's actually possible, though)
Meh, it is not even a game, it is a torture :P
I can't even reach the second key x.x

Do you mean Rainbow Dash Attack for the PRIZM? Because that's the only calc one I remember.
D: You don't know mine D:

As for people learning ASM then switching to Axe or vice-versa it's definitively due to how both languages allows you to edit RAM directly and use pointers in a similar way.
Yeah, Axe's way to handle "objects" is the same as ASM, and not the same as Basic. And I saw a lot of noobs asking how to use the list L1 while it is not a list -.-°

Axe has a more user-friendly, but more complex syntax, while ASM has a simpler, but potentially confusing (due to lack of English mnemonics) syntax.
I would not say that Axe's syntax is user friendly, but more that it can be user friendly for beginners, but there is a moment you must start writing nonsense Runer-mimic code (even if Runer can always make better) :P

So how do I save as .rom then ? ???
File > Save > tell it to save as .rom by typing it in or the drop-down menu.
Yeah, Jacobly explained me that I actually had to directly name the file with the rom extension, and not saving with sav or with no extension then rename.
Thank you too, I'll try it when I get home :)

edit: I gave you your 255th post rating :P

Art / Re: Mockups "please say this is going to be a game"
« on: April 23, 2013, 12:05:57 pm »
@Keoni29 forget about it. I don't remember who made it, but only filling the entire screen with the same color (and not doing anything else in the loop !) allows for a maximum of 6-7 fps. If a game like that were to be made on the 84+CSE, it would most likely only take half or a quarter of the screen to have a correct speed.
That was with no tricks, but using the half resolution trick the fps can be doubled, and even quadrupled using DJ_O's trick that only displays on line among two.

Hayleia: You have to save as a *.rom file, otherwise it creates a save file which won't work.
And renaming the .sav into .rom.tns doesn't work ? Because that is what I did :P
So how do I save as .rom then ? ???

By the way, how do I run apps (for example, Portal Prelude) on the emu? I've been searching for it online but can't find it.

Well, you run your ti84+SE rom in the wabbitemu (a ti-84 pc emulator), then you send the apps to the emulated rom and them you save your new rom with the apps that you want and then you use that rom on the calcemu...
I tried that but it didn't work (84+SE OS 2.43 rom saved with no compression). What version of Wabbitemu are you using ?
