TI-Nspire / Re: gpSP-Nspire (GBA Emulator)
« on: April 16, 2013, 07:54:28 am »
First of all, I am not sure I understood your sentence due some missing verbs (or maybe you are asking for help from someone called "mk tournament" but I don't know anyone called like that on Omnimaga).

Secondly, gpSP is a portage of an already existing emulator. So if the original emulator doesn't support a certain game, there is no chance for the portage to run it, and even though the author of the portage certainly have the capacities to add compatibilities, he certainly would prefer the original authors to do that themselves, and he surely would not like to do it for someone who didn't ask politely with a complete sentence.

Your 84+ SE should have more free ram than that if you have nothing in ram.
Not sure about that. I just tried making a RAM Clear and looking at the available RAM right after, it still says 20619.

I don't get why the readme says "Unfortunately due to the size of the program, it's currently --LIMITED TO THE 83+SE AND ABOVE--, but we're working on trying to get around this limitation and add 83+ support." ???

On the contrary, my 84+SE has so much programs (even archived they take some RAM) that its RAM is low (around 21000 bytes), so it can't run this game. And on the contrary, my 83+ is so empty that it still has 23000 bytes of RAM and can easily run this game (didn't try but I am sure it would work).

Anyone to write a program editor that is not slow as hell for the 84+CSE ? Seriously, the test program I wrote is only 28 lines but it still takes ages to scroll to an error o.o°

Yeah, maybe that package is hard to open but also hard to close so they chose to put mine in an easy-to-close box :P
Or they just wanted to save money on mine because I don't really see this package being hard to make -.-°

Nope. Grayscale requires two buffers, but the second one is not necessarily the back buffer L3 (and the first one is not necessarily the main one L6).

???
The method I gave you doesn't involve the back buffer ;)

Great :D
And adding a grayscale background is really easy, if it never moves. All you need to do is to add your hex code somewhere, stored at a pointer called °BG for example (really original :P) then you replace all your "DispGraph" by "DispGraph(L6,°BG)" :)

I can't view the pic since attachments do not work properly in Tapatalk, but nice collection. As for mine, for those who don't know already, I finally got a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition.
Ah, I never tried Tapatalk so I didn't know that. I posted on my Android in normal view.

What happened to Trixie? She looks like she has a little dent?
But more importantly, what happened to Carly?? It's not so clear for me what that is.
Where do you see a dent on Trixie ? ???
(Also, Trixie and Roxanna exchanged their faceplates on the photo, so don't confuse, Trixie is in fact the one on the left, with the black faceplate :P)
And Carly has some customization I made when I was in Seconde, because then, "a lot" of people had the same calc as mine. But for the other calcs, Trixie has zStart displaying a pic of my rabbit at startup, Athena has a blue and red theme, and no one has a Prizm or a 76.fr or a 84+CSE in my school so only Carly needed customization ;)

From left to right in order of obtainance (don't know if that word exists but I don't care :P)

Carly the 83+
Trixie the 84+SE
Lulii the 76.fr
Athena the CX CAS
Alstroemeria the Prizm
Roxanna (Roxie) the 84+CSE

My 84+CSE came in a cardboard box ???
It still needed a knife to open but that was not the same hassle I guess.

Who will seriously be mad enough to go out with $1000 on the head ?
Seriously, in a society with no stealers, those glasses could make a hit, since privacy seems not to be a problem for most people using Facebook and such.

GLaDOS?
Nope, and I never played Portal. I actually had to Google GLaDOS to know what you were talking about :P
