News / Re: Omnimaga introduces instant quick-reply and enhanced CODE tags
« on: November 02, 2011, 02:13:55 am »
There is a "problem" (not really) with the Reply #72 thing: For example with DJ's post, if I click on "Re: Omnimaga introduces instant quick-reply and enhanced CODE tags", it centers the page so the post is on top but if I click on "Reply #72", it doesn't center anything and I have to scroll down.
Not that I am lazy (:P) but when I first tried it, I didn't scroll down, thinking it was just redirecting me to the same page with no centering or something.

Hayleia :
Haven't you learnt the irregular verbs ?
(j/k :D )

Okay, I'll upload it
I learnt them a long time ago, (hit/hit/hit) but now, in English class, we learn to discuss about topics, we don't learn to speak anymore D:

I think that you should write "Survive as long as you can without getting hitten by the cubes!" but an answer from someone whose first language is English would be better ;D

EDIT: nope, that was an epic fail from me D:
EDIT 2: Lol I really said hitten ?
EDIT 2.5: must have been confused with hidden and eaten maybe
EDIT 3: Next time I'll say hited :P

2255: Your teacher takes away your TI before classtest and gives you another one!
(Really happened to me and to the guy which I teached coding, too!!!)
2356: You don't care because you have 2 other calcs in your bag, and they are worst than the one the teacher took away.

Also, I tried to fix the numbering, but I am not sure ;D

for all the English guys:
Do you understand the video?
If yes, please post here what the video is about! (That'll be funny to read what you all understand!! :D
I think this is about the fact that in German, we instead of doing "Barbara's cake", we attach Barbara and cake. And when we attach a lot of words that looks like others, that become impossible to say.
Is it that ?

TI Z80 / Re: Text compression for AXE programs
« on: November 01, 2011, 03:31:07 am »
Ok i'll see what I can do with the lowercase letters.  Another thing,  what about numbers?  With my current routine and plans on the lowercase,  I can only have about 64 characters.  I could take out some of the symbols if numbers was needed.
Personally, I use numbers 1,2,3,4 and symbols !?.,-':
I think that is all. But yeah, I am not alone in this planet, so do what you think is fair :P

Another idea, during decompression, you can automatically make the first letter of every sentence uppercase, and the rest lowercase. That way it still looks nice, but it takes up the same amount of space.  You can use other rules too to capitalize things in quotes.  Also, don't forget about characters '0' through '9', those are probably important too.
But if we want to display "Hi Ginny !", then Ginny will be with lowercase D:
But yeah, that would save space.

That is about 33% compression with the strings.
O.O

Any suggestions will be considered.
Please, please, please add lowercase <insert begging smiley here>
In my game, I have more than 1900 bytes of text data. You compression would save a lot of space.

I have made Tron and various other arcade games with it, but I never got a chance to post them
Why couldn't you post them ??? ?
Also, I only did Pokemon Topaze, if someone wants to put it in the list.

Sorry ! I am double posting for nothing interesting.
I added a readme in the zip.
I don't even call this an update, but I still thought it was worth double posting (some people are addicted to readmes)

2330: you messed up on the numbers
That one and many of the new ones have been repeated several times x.x
2251: We repeat stuffs in here. A lot. :P :P :P
(don't count it as a sign please, it was already taken at least 42 times)

I know some ppl at casiocalc.org were talking of making one... is there really one in existence? ???
Yes, it is called Gossamer and was released on Cemetech

TI Z80 / Re: zStart - an app that runs on ram clears
« on: October 31, 2011, 04:13:37 am »
I Code all the time. I have a ti-83+ so I didnt install run on ram clears.
O.O I advise you to remove it from your calc. It was not designed for 83+, but for every other z80 calc, so it will just crash your calc and take up useless space (except if you want the picture on startup :P). Here is a quote from the creator of zStart.

zStart is the most anti-83+BE thing I've ever written.

But if you own a TI 83+SE or a TI 84+ or a TI 84+SE, then I agree with annoyingcalc ;D
