I was thinking if you use A thru Z, <space>, <period>, <question mark>, <comma>, <single quote>, <colon>. That is 32 characters altogether. You can use 5 bits instead of the 8 bits and therefore saving about 35% space.
You forgot something: There is not only A,B,C,... but also a,b,c,... But yeah, that would be very useful (don't forget the decompression algorithm )

Yeah, I agree with both (and with DJ ) I have a pessimist sentence: the better way for it to not finish bad is to never start. Now an optimist version: It will never be finished if it is never started. Now another optimist version: Start, and you'll see if it is good or bad; if it is good, ok; if it is not good, you can make it good. Example. I made my Pokemon game and it took 23000 bytes, because I was an absolute beginner. But at least, it was working. THEN, you read what you wrote and see stupid things and you optimize. Now my game takes 21300 bytes, with more things in So don't think "I am a beginner". Begin.

I totally agree with you. There is just a point that needs to be cleared. Some of your points doesn't only apply to the Prizm . So yeah, I should make readmes -.-° EDIT: I made a readme

I use it to program in Axe but I am sure it works in basic too, by detecting if the first character is a dot or no.

So it is assembly? Does anybody know of a good Axe one?
I don't think it exists, and even if there were one, the source probably wouldn't be released EDIT: completely ninja'd

I was talking about the concept of the gba games, not the coding.
I know, we rarely buy a game to code it afterwards It was just a joke, or something that was meant to be funny (epic fail it seems )

I got it, and it doesnt really seem that useful, unless im doin it wrong
Well it depends on the usage you do of your calc. In my case, RAM Clears happen all the time so zStart is useful necessary. But if you don't code for example, then, I agree with you, it is not that powerful (even if the speed gain when launching and quitting a program is awesome). But, one last thing, it doesn't work on a TI 83+, I hope you didn't install it on a TI 83+ , did you ?

nope it fails :'(
Did you send it from another calc or from a computer ? For me it always fail when sending from another calc.

zStart does the same thing?
Erm, not exactly. -DCS is a shell. -zStart is a swiss knife, according to his creator (and I agree). It is not a shell and needs one to run shell-specific programs but it extends the capacities of your calc to the limit of (can someone tell me how to finish that sentence ?).
