I hope you don't mean what I think O.O
I think it is what you think :P
And I was wondering when this one would come out.

Gaming Discussion / Re: Portable NES inside a dvd player
« on: May 22, 2014, 03:37:54 am »
I like the fact it is based on a portable dvd player. It makes it easier to find parts. You don't have to buy the screen, then build the shell, etc :)

However, I agree with StreetWalrus: GameCube version wanted :P

Art / Re: Poll: Which Reuben color text border do you prefer?
« on: May 21, 2014, 08:37:37 am »
I voted for middle-center because I don't like when text is stuck to vertical borders. I could have voted middle-right too but this one wastes a bit too much space.
I could also have voted for one where the textbox fits the screen in width but where the text doesn't fit the box in width, but you don't have such mockup.

Axe / Re: Zooming Graphics In Axe
« on: May 20, 2014, 07:08:54 am »
is this even possible in axe?
I don't see where the problem is. As long as you can read and write anywhere, you can do pretty much everything. The only problem is speed, as Streetwalrus said (that's why we don't have Assassin's Creed on calcs).

But it depends on what you want to do. You can do some simple things with lines without it being that slow. But it you want to zoom on an arbitrary image, yeah, you might run in speed issues whatever your language is.

I was planning to add this layout to AudaciTI for musicians but only during holidays -.-

Anyway, good luck with your project :)

Humour and Jokes / Re: Omni meme compilation !

Well for some reason he liked to push people off the bridge, especially Stefan Bauwens. Then there were some rules about him being the only one to be able to do so or something.

And "bbl goof" is a typo, it was meant to be "bbl food". IIRC, I discovered it when Runer112 wrote it, I asked why "goof" and he said that DJ_O was the first one to make the typo and people followed.

UPDATE

-Meteorites have trails. Not only it is visually better but it is also helpful when you pause the game because you know where they are going and you can unpause without being killed.
-When you start the game, balls are not on screen, they come from the outside (like in the real game).

Same download link.

Especially since there is no "our language", not everybody speaks the same language.

Other / Re: End of Nintendo WFC. Private servers take over!
« on: May 17, 2014, 12:06:50 pm »
If I buy a Wii in 3 months for some reason, I of course won't have access to official Nintendo WFC servers but will I have access to those ones even if I didn't register when the official ones where online ?
Yes, I think so. The point of registering now is keeping your current Friend Code and data from Nintendo's servers.
Ah great, that's a really good thing then :D

TI-Nspire / Re: nGL - a fast (enough) 3D engine for the nspire
« on: May 17, 2014, 07:21:39 am »
I think the priority is the speed up all the "loading" during the game.
That's terrain generation and it will probably not get much faster.. :( Unless I can find a better way to generate terrain.
Wait, that means that if I stay on a "region" where everything is already generated, I don't have that loading anymore ?
Maybe you could add an option or something to waste 1 minute of time generating a "huge" map to save time later by not generating anything anymore ?
