TI-Nspire / Re: nGL - a fast (enough) 3D engine for the nspire

I actually thought about that, but it doesn't make much sense IMHO. One hand for rotation and the other for movement.
Well on PC, you have one hand on keys and the other one on the mouse.
Same on Android where you have one hand on a virtual D-Pad and the other one sliding around to look around.
I hear your argument about the emu though.

Axe / Re: Axe Q&A

Can we have the source code (at least the line with pxl-test and some lines around like the loop it is in) ?

Maybe with pxl-test(X,Y) ? ;)
Have a look at Commands.html (in the zip where you find Axe), it is full of useful information :)

Weird all my hardware is supported but again, it's previous gen stuff. :/
Yeah, that. See, here in May they talk about the announcement of the upcoming graphic card that is mine, so it is not out yet in May, and I got it in July so I guess they first made drivers for Win8 before making them for 7.

Lol, I knew you would not be happy with that :P
But in fact, I tried to install Win7, it worked... without the drivers, but my hardware was too recent when I bought it to have all the drivers. They were only available for Win8 so I had to install Win8. And I completely agree with the fact Win8 is 90% useless and that they could have let the compatibility options, but I didn't have the choice back then :-\

Lol yeah, it's one of the few good things in Windows 8. Since there is no start button by default, you can put one yourself and put what you want as design :P
It was no so fun to edit that Masterball image (I don't know where I found it, probably deviantart) to have transparent background etc though. But the result is worth it :D

Also, it opens when you click it :P

Ok, so here's my other laptop's desktop. On windows because I almost never use Linux on this one. And of course, it is normally 1920x1080 and not 8 bit colors but I edited the screenshot to be able to upload it.

Well the graphics are just an icon theme that you can change (by visiting gnome look.org). And the pink is less pink on real hardware (maybe because the screen is shitty) ;)

In fact, it is Smash's logo, they put it on the Smash ball for the fun but it was in the O in "Bros" before the Smash ball was added in the gameplay.

And if you don't like those bars, know that you can customize them ;)
For example, you see that I chose (due to my organization problems :P) to have my windows listed in three different ways: on the top bar there are the windows on the current desktop; at the bottom of the left bar, there are all the windows on all desktops; in the middle of the left bar, there are mini representations of my desktops. But you can remove that and put what you want there :)
Or you can just remove those bars if you don't like them :P

edit wow, that pink looks much more agressive on that laptop than on my netbook O.O

Well, you see we can have fun with Ubuntu based distros ;)
I don't like the classic Ubuntu distro either but I love Lubuntu :D

I was just fed up with working one day and thought "I'll set Archey up and have it answer as if I was using Arch" :P
And you don't see my mouse cursor in those screenshots but it is an Arch arch too ;)
(and did you recognize what's on the menu button in the top left corner ? hint: it is also on the desktop background's background :P)

Also lxde is ugly. :P
Well if you let it the way it is by default, yes, but it is highly customizable. See screenshots from my netbook (not the laptop I play Project M on :P) an dare tell me it is ugly :P

you only install what you want/need.
Almost the same in Lubuntu. You just have a "desktop" installed by default but then nothing else, and nothing prevents you from wiping that "desktop" and installing another one (by "desktop" I mean windows manager, etc).

In fact, we tried to play with Streetwalrus and there was some annoying latency and desync. Both of us were seeing the other one commit suicide for no reason and even if that were not the case, latency would have killed gameplay.

So it can be fun but only if there is a very good connection between both PCs I guess.

I'm an average beginner. :P
Ok so I can try to play against you without being humiliated , right ? :P

Also I always use the latest nightly build of Dolphin but I can switch to 4.0.2 release if needed. ;)
Ok, but... where do we see the exact version of Dolphin ? In "À propos", I only see "4.0" and not "4.0.something".

I'm playing on Dolphin with PS3 pads because I don't have a Wii nor Wiimotes nor GC pad adapters. :P
I don't have a Wii nor Wiimotes nor a GC but I have GC pads and GC pad adapters :P
But cool you are playing on computer, we'll be able to play together :D

Also I'm currently building a patched ISO with this.
That's exactly the same tutorial I built mine with, so I guess we won't have compatibility issues (except if Netplay requires exact same versions of Dolphin on both platforms, like with the same last numbers and all -.-)

Before we consider playing together, are you good at Smash or not (so I think about being in your team against CPUs or against you :P) ?
