Axe / Re: Reading the symbol table/ VAT?

You can also use MemKit (an axiom) to browse the VAT. It should be included in the zip when you download Axe.

If you like nintendo games:get a 3ds.
Well, I like Pokemon :P

If you like playstation and android games: get a psVita.
I like Android games (I mean Nova 3, not Angry Birds) but I have a Note 3 for that :P

If you like xbox games: you're basically fucked.
Lol :P
Also I have a PC.

You get a PSP quality more or less. Not much more. Nintendo never shined for their graphic power.
Well it's not that bad already. I asked my parents for a DS when it was out and they said no and bought me a PSP I never wanted instead, so maybe the 3DS will be ok, idk.

If you mean enhancing regular DS games then it wont but the 3DS is a lot better at graphics for its own games.
Yeah, I meant for its own games.

Honnestly, no. Unless you like Pokemon, you won't find many games that worth it.

Wait there is the next Smash Bros on it. :D
Well I like Pokemon lol. But my question was more about graphics.

Gaming Discussion / Is the 3DS worth it ?

The title is explanatory.
I saw what a DS can do, and noticed I was able to count the pixels and the polygons, in other words the graphics were awful. However, most games seemed to have an interesting gameplay.
Hence the question : does the 3DS improves the graphical experience without lowering the gameplay experience ?

(note, I don't care about 3D, if I had a 3DS I'd always turn 3D off)

Imagine a calculator emulator on GB :P
The contrary is possible (see TI-Boy SE) but that emulation would not be convenient because of the lack of buttons on the GameBoy (you can argue that the contrary is not convenient either due to the smaller screen on the calc too btw, but it works).

Easier to solve.

NIKKI DUDE YOU'RE NOT JOKING! lol you're insane! Post the other half. IS THAT A BRICK CUBE I SEE AND A TUTTMINX?!?!
Nikki are you on the forums?
Nope, he managed to post without being on the forums.
* Hayleia runs
More seriously, he is more often on TI Planet than on Omnimaga, but since he's a Rubik's Cube fan (as you can see)(among other things), he still landed in that topic.
(also, there is only one "k" in "nikitouzz").

edit Also, I ordered a Shengshou 5x5x5 for Christmas. I'll see if I manage to do things with it <.<

Here is my fav font, please note that i didn't make it, i copied it from hayleia :P

I didn't make it either, it was made by Spyro. I only changed the cursor in his font. He uploaded it in the middle of the zStart topic iirc.

En fait on s'en était rendus compte avec un ami à moi quand on a voulu regarder l'heure sur sa montre (une Casio d'ailleurs) qui affiche les trois premières lettres du jour de la semaine. Autant dire qu'on a perdu à un moment inattendu.

TI-BASIC / Re: Convert an image to pt-on commands?

But he wants that in Basic for his 84+CSE, so I guess Axe won't do his job.

TI-Nspire / Re: nDealOrNoDeal for Nspire - The Language War

But the "toutefois" word shows that Critor is not bashing the game, but saying "everything is awesome except that little thing".

And keep in mind not everyone have hardware J/K calcs and if someone wants Ndless, you can easily avoid them by buying second hand.
But that is becaus you know it, but not everyone knows that. A lot of people on TI Planet are asking "how do I downgrade from 3.2.4" and answer J when we ask "what is your hardware revision ?", because they weren't aware of all those protections.

Also, as mentionned mdr1, Critor doesn't hate Ndless (or he would have done mViewer in TI Basic), but just said that a non ressource-expensive game couls have been done in Lua, even though it would have been a lot slower to load with all those graphics, a lot bigger in size, and possibly not fun to code for AJOrians if he prefers coding in C over Lua. So it was just a "could have been possible to", not a "should never have happened".

TI Z80 / Re: Jumper for the +C
« on: November 21, 2013, 12:00:03 pm »
The original game never goes faster than that, except when bouncing super high or using a jetpack, but you have a slowdown before going back down so it is not a big problem.
Note, that last sentence was a "as far as I can tell from having played that game twice in my life" so it may not be very accurate.

Anyways, looks fast enough for me, great job ! :D

You can transfer your code to the computer (which would make a backup of your code, useful too) then open it with TokenIDE (doesn't need any installation (except the .NET Framework if you don't have it)) and copy-paste the content. Instead of using TokenIDE, you can also use TI-Editor, which is an online tool for that, but this is a bit weird to read the produced code because it is a Basic IDE, with Basic tokens, not Axe ones, while TokenIDE supports both languages.

Or if you are lazy, you can also just attach the code to your post, but you should know that other people are lazy too (me in particular), and find it harder to download than just read :P
