Are there any NES games that are either public domain or open source? I don't care whether they're "official" games or "unofficial" games. However, I am not interested in hacks.

I've decided to grow a beard, and as such I'm new to the idea of "trimming." I've heard of people using a comb to grab some hair and use an electric razor to trim the excess hair length off of the comb, but I'm wanting something where I can push against my face as hard as possible while still only cutting the top half of the beard or so.
Does that make sense? Is there a razor or razor accessories that can do this? What do you suggest?

I'm going to start off by saying that I have not played Portal 2 yet.
However, I was reading about it, and when I heard the designers say that each of the 2 campaigns would take 6 hours each, I was hesitant, especially considering how much time the company took to make Portal 2. Furthermore, I read that many players beat the game in far less time.
What do you think? Was there enough gameplay in Portal 2 to make it worth $60?

Here at Omnimaga, we give respect points to those who have earned them. People who have put a lot of work into maintaining a site, keeping the peace and providing valuable projects and resources will obviously have more points.
So when we see that DJ_O has +1000 respect, the highest of anyone, we know that it is because he is very deserving of it. DJ has put a lot of hard work into maintaining Omnimaga. Although the site has had numerous fights, troublemakers and low periods of activity it was DJ_O who helped us pull through. And what's more, he has always been a friend to those on this site who need one.
While we have other managers on this site, none of us have as much respect as DJ. That says a lot. So I speak for many people when I say "Thank you" to DJ, remembering that Omnimaga would never be the same without him.

I don't need any code or guidance on what a masked sprite is, but let's say that on this 8x8 ship the white center is white and the white outside is transparent. What would a 16x8 bitmap with the masked sprite data look like? Thanks

So far, no matter what I try, the keyword Input displays a blank screen with a blinking cursor, even after I use Disp.
For example:
Disp "PASSWORD", i Input
The user will not see the word PASSWORD. The screen is completely cleared.
Is there a solution besides creating my own input routine?

If you run an ASM program without a shell, SMC inside the program does not stay permanent, since the TI-OS just makes a copy of the program. Does SMC stay permanent in MirageOS, Ion, etc?

I heard from someone that Lua on the Nspire is darn close to the speed of C/Asm on the Nspire. Do you think the community will use Ndless nonetheless, or do you think hacking the Nspire will be a successful, yet unneeded, effort?

My cell phone came with a demo of Tetris, so I invented this fun challenge to avoid being tempted to buy the full game. I certainly have not gotten bored of it yet, but it ain't an easy challenge.
Object of the game: --------------------
You win the challenge if you score five lines as follows: 4 lines at once (a tetris) followed by one line
Rules: ------------------
You are allowed to drop a maximum of 14 pieces If you hold even one tetris piece, you are only allowed to drop a maximum of 13 pieces. The only exception is if your 14th piece is held, in which case you may drop ONE more piece (making a maximum of 14 dropped)

Suppose I had the following code (basically an endless loop):
Lbl A sub(B
Lbl B Goto A
Is this bad?

We at Omnimaga are sorry to announce that, at least for the time being, SirCmpwn is no longer a coder of tomorrow. However, this is not necessarily a permanent decision.

Some of you may have heard news and promotions from Camper that "Judgement Day" would be May 21st, that is, two days ago. As you can tell, it never happened.
While I know what I believe, I'm not going to promote a religion and bash another, but I will say that whatever you believe should not waiver because of this "mistake." If you believe against Christianity, this is not further evidence that the religion is false. Same if you are a Christian.
Basically, the Bible says that "NO MAN can know" when the rapture is going to occur. Whether the Bible is true or not, the fact remains that Camper thought he knew when it would happen, but he didn't. Exactly as the Bible said.
So if you believe in Christianity, you should not let this cause doubt in your mind. If you believe in another religion or are an athiest, this is not proof that Christianity is a hoax...whether or not you believe, Christianity can still be true or false.

I've finally put the finishing touches on my ASM lessons, so you can go here to download the updated files: http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=594This will be the version I upload to ticalc.org. If you want just Appendix E, you can download the attachment below. Netham45 and DJ_O, if you can provide me assistance by telling me how to upload the lessons with Omnimaga as a host site, I am ready to do so.
