Nice I think its a good idea to whip up a demo so that people can see whats possible with this new library Can't wait! ^^
Yeah, it will definitely be a demo people can look at, but thanks to all the volunteers (WOW), it's not going to be the only game with screenshots to show off
Wait, has correlation been released?
* Qwerty.55 has been waiting eagerly to test it
No, not yet, don't worry I'm just making this game to test it while it's being coded

A splash screen is normally not a great "screenshot," but I wanted to show people that I got fonts up to 16x16 working, as well as e^(. You can now display whole pictures in Ti-Basic without having to use picture variables!
Code:
real(ZERATULL e^(0,0,"ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWX Pause

This works too, I think I was trying too hard now.
It's always good to try yourself as it helps you learn. But we are also very eager to help people out

Hmmmm so what other methods could be used to display a map in 3D?
Well to make a long story short, I had in mind an absence of formulas. Anything other than that is kind of hard for me to explain without doing it myself--which I don't have time for

I'll admit, I never stop being amazed at what people can do with Ti-Basic

Oh whoops my bad, i thought this was about performing raycasting operations, but instead of displaying wall slices, display 8x8 sprites. Hmmm this is interesting, i shall have to think about this
Ah, that makes sense. Well, it depends on how you want to go about it, and I guess raycasting operations could work well. ( Don't let me keep you down ) My idea on the first page was something different from raycasting, so I wouldn't know if it could work or not

I myself might go about making a raycaster using only sprites, i wanna see how this turns out
I'm confused: Why do we call it raycasting? Raycasting and drawing flat sprites are two different things. Is it because we're so used to the term? 0_0

A utility for doing what?
"I am thinking of making a program that stores the location of pixels into lists, and then graphing them quickly using Stat plots, but if there's a program out there that does the same thing, I would like to use it as reference"

If I can offer an alternative, you might try Omnicalc, which lets you make a custom font. It comes with a designer, and you can change some of the characters of the Ti-83+ font into graphics.

Hmm I see. Well what I wondered was if using DCS inside a Correlation program was an issue. THanks for clarifying that part.
Oh, good, glad I was helpful there
