How do I go about drawing a sprite so that 1s are black and 0s are white? All I need is the basics behind it, no code or anything.
I tried writing my own routine, but as I draw byte by byte, there's either some transparency, or the next byte of pixel data messes up what's in the previous byte of pixel data. I'm trying to duplicate "B_CALL DisplayImage." Oh, and by the way, I don't care if there's a "white square" appearing around the sprite like Ti's DisplayImage. In fact, I'm trying to achieve the same effect with no results.

I used to like Family Guy, and the interest died quickly. South Park is da bomb

I needed a study break, so I started the guide. A draft, of course.

Oops, I forgot to mention that you can also see how many ships your opponent is using, so you can decide whether you want to fight or retreat.

You can now control multiple of the same kind of ship. If you feel like attacking a base with 10 balkstones at once, S.A.D. lets you do that now.
Next up is basic multiplayer support, and then fixing bugs for the Alpha 4 release, hopefully coming out this month.

but if the detector units are too easy to build, the clocking units will be useless(You can't rush then.) making it not-so-easy will be better.
That's true, but we didn't say "too easy." We only said "easier" to build. If you remember how hard it was to have detection at every single spot in starcraft/starcraft II, S.A.D. is trying to imitate that.

I think ive heard dig dug before. played it on the pc, you are a tractor, digger collecting gems however there are ghosts, elephants and other enemies(at least in my version), and gold bags that can reward you, or fall on top of you. fun game.
Definitely your version--which I never heard of before! The original Dig Dug, you play as a space explorer facing dragons and some kind of flying creature, with rocks that can fall and fruit that rewards you

will there be hero units for every races(in campaign mode)?
Short answer: To a limited extent. In regular campaign modes, there will not be heroes, simply because the gameplay of S.A.D. does not allow different types of units being used at the same time. THIS MIGHT CHANGE: If time allows, I might make the game so that you can use a hero unit (or a group of hero units) as your "group of units." Risky, because if the heroes die, you lose. For sure, though, there will be a few "combat missions" where you can use only one unit to do all of your dirty work, and you lose the game if that unit dies. In this case, the unit is a hero unit controlled by a particular character.

Classic Mode it is, then! I put the beta lessons out for finding bugs such as these, so I'll be sure to warn people about classic mode with the ti-84+ 2.53.
As long as you have spaces at the beginning of lines where spaces are required, I'm pretty sure that for the most part, the number of spaces at places such as those above doesn't matter. I think the only exceptions are those that are not needed for the lessons.

Hi - I just recently begun your lessons, and I've run into trouble with the first sample problem (Where it displays 1+5) It doesn't display anything, but quits normally when I press any key. I have 2.53 OS - does that make a difference?
(I've attached the asm file because I'm probably doing something wrong in it)
It might be the 2.53 OS. I don't own an 84+, so I can't say for sure. But I will say that I test every program I place in the tutorials, and this one worked perfectly when i tested it. Might I recommend testing on a Ti-83+ instead?

I have a question: According to this tutorial, there are supposed to be 5 Appendix, right? Where's the other two?
One has been ditched. I've attached the other one below, although the sprite routine in the tutorial is not available yet.
