Looks awesome so far. I also read the "pre-pre-pre-alpha" manual and it looks great. I hope all those features make it to the final game. Good luck!

Thanks!  By the way, welcome to the forum!

Like all early game manuals, some wonderful features have been added since then, and some have been removed.
For instance, Extension Coils, Zinyar Railgun and Radar have all been removed.  Also, the graphics for a selected building have been removed.  However, the manual was mainly written to encourage people to join the project, and it worked!

That looks great!  Could you make the heart flash on and off when you have 5 or less hearts left? :)

I like that idea too

True, and potential spam can be countered by the fact we have a section just for that, which doesn't count toward people total count. So people can't postcount++ then boast about it even if they didn't contribute anything useful to the community :)

I couldn't agree more

It will work on it. it will tell you you need a 84+, but pressing GRAPH will bypass the warning. He was just not aware the 83+SE was a 15 MHz calc and had crystal timers before.

Sorry for getting off topic, but does the 84+ use crystal timers, or the clock port?  (Or does the clock actually use crystal timers?)

S.A.D. (Seek and Destroy) / [S.A.D.] Design Document

For those of you interested in Design Documents, I wrote this when Buckeye joined the S.A.D. team.  You'll find that about half of S.A.D. follows this document, and the other half has changed dramatically.

Drew,

In regards to your query about more information about documentation for Ports 4C and above. I can only refer you to the sdk documentation on our website:

Bill Anderson

Me:
Hi Bill,
Unfortunately, I'm looking for information about ports 4C and above on the TI-84+, not the TI-89.
Thanks!

Regards,
Drew "Sir Cmpwn" DeVault

That may be one factor in whether people will buy our graphing calculator or not :)  TI support is really lacking

Also, at 1000 posts you can add something else below your nickname, such as what I did

Really?  Wow!  How do I do that?  When I reach 1000 posts, that is

Pulling a RPG in 8 KB code seems like an hectic task.

To say the least :)

S.A.D. (Seek and Destroy) / Re: [S.A.D] Bug Reports

At the beginning of the game, there is one Operation Center (http://ourl.ca/3908/71943) at the upper-left hand corner of the map, and one at the lower-right hand corner of the map.  If you place your cursor over those two Operation Centers, I don't know if the game will crash, but it will certainly freeze for a few moments.
