ASM / Re: Multi-Page Apps, what's the difference?« on: August 26, 2010, 11:12:34 am »Don't bother us with questions if you have problems simply because you decided to try a different route." Man, I'm really sorry, Jerros. The quote was directed at TI, not at you. So I hope you'll still feel welcome. The others were right, it was an accidental miswording and I was shocked to see that I had typed it out wrong. We've known TI to not be very through in answering questions. But I hope you always feel welcome to bring any questions you have to this site. I think I will accidentally come out the wrong way if I try to explain what happened, but I hope you understand that nothing was directed toward you. I was glad to see that you brought this question to use as opposed to another site, and I was happy to do my part in helping you out. 2013

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Axe Parser« on: August 25, 2010, 09:08:24 pm »
Sorry for the double post. Are you really adding Mode 7? If I wasn't stopping programming after S.A.D. (though I'll most likely still be on the site), I would serious use Axe for that.

Animated Tiles would be cool if not difficult. Whatever the case, keep up the good work! I like where this is going.

S.A.D. (Seek and Destroy) / Re: [S.A.D] Bug Reports« on: August 25, 2010, 08:04:35 pm »
Do your best to avoid the placing your cursor over the "Operation Centers" found at the corners of the map. I'm going to remove those in the next build, but every map will have one for each player when I get the "Game Startup Code" working

Project M (Super Mario) / Re: Project M Reboot« on: August 25, 2010, 04:43:08 pm »Still implemented, but only for 15 MHz calcs. I can't wait to try this on calc ^^ Yeah, it's too bad that the sound requires that much processing power--and space, too. I wonder what kind of sound we'll get on the Nspire * HotDog wonders

Lesson 17 is up. I'll probably do one more before college starts again, and then continue once I get settled.

ASM / Re: Multi-Page Apps, what's the difference?« on: August 25, 2010, 10:20:44 am »I'm about 99% sure that any address within the app should work, and the "multiple of 3" thing is just a result of silly TI documentation. Because the *only* way that the remainder when divided by 3 would matter is if TI actually divided it by 3 in the bcall routine, which I am very sure they don't.Oh, and I forgot to mention this earlier. If your branch table isn't right after the app header, you do need to make sure it is at an address divisible by three after subtracting $4000.... Never paid attention to that, but even after editting it still works. In that case, they said exactly what I would say if I were TI..."We've done it for years this way, and it works perfectly and easily, so you should do it the way that WE do it. Don't bother us with questions if you have problems simply because you decided to try a different route." |
