TI-83+SE are no longer in production, and so they are harder to find. Also, a TI-83+SE is the fastest of the 8x family due to the fact that is has no clock using up cycles. of course that means it has no extra features, but to be sure they are a very desirable calculator to have. Kind of a collectors piece.
So what you're saying is that a Ti-83+ SE is faster generally than an 84+ SE?

sorry for being off topic but I had to reply to that to avoid misconceptions of, especialy, myself. It's okay, I wasn't pointing fingers at anyone. I have no idea who purchases a Nspire for what, but I do know that some people purchase them just for games

Actually, I've been posting because it's getting more enjoyable to do so. With all these progressing projects. Oh, that's true, and probably for other people as well. I increased because I was really upset about the last couple of weeks.

It seems like ever since the Bungies left, we've been increasing the amount of posts in order to continue the sites' good reputation! I've seen good answers to questions, "good job" kinds of comments, and pondering questions that were not asked on other calculator sites. Most importantly, we've been keeping our community spirit as far as I can tell.
Keep it up everyone, let's show everyone that there's a wonderful reason to join the community.

What is it with technology dying when it's not in constant use? My monitor was not in use for about a month, so now it takes anywhere from 2-5 minutes to turn on. It also makes an increasing-in-pitch whistle that sounds like the blasted thing is about to explode

Like the others, I'd say Clickpad non-CAS, since you explicitly wrote that you're into gaming but not into math. With the Clickpad non-CAS, you get the 84+ keypad as a bonus, which, besides the 84+ mode, could prove useful with, say, a 89(T) emulator (89/89T and most of the recent TI-Z80 family models have the same layout).
The Ti-89 is difficult to type on, as well. You can't use the 84+ keypad to type letters perfectly on a Ti-89 emulator, because all the letters are mixed up--and X, Y and Z all have their own keys rather than requiring ALPHA. If you're talking about the general pattern of keys, that is true, though the 89 keyboard has different labels on keys.

Two new buildings. The Cloaking Field will cloak any buildings immediately next to it, and the Cloaking Field itself is cloaked. However, it requires its own power generator, and so it can cloak up to three other buildings besides the power generator it requires. The Scorpion is the Ptaloid's ACC.

Why?
Unless you program in C, it's not necessary.
