What would be the reason why the game is on hold? Is it due to SAD main game progress resuming? Sort of...actually, SAD is resuming because the other is on hold. I got a job this summer, and so that will take up a lot of my time.

I have some good news and some bad news. I'll make the bad news short and simple: The game is on hold, though maybe not indefinitely. It will not be ready in time for the Axe Parser contest.
The good news is, I am at the point in Seek and Destroy where I don't have to have hours to sit down and code. Thus, my work on it will continue normally throughout the summer.

I am impressed with the Axe Parser have enough attention for the real need of a guide with some more advanced code for Axe Parser.
It would be interesting to release in ticalc. When I have a opportunity, I will read this and give my thoughts about it. I still need to check out the assembly guide by Hot Dog first. ^~
Unless you're going to give my guide a quick glance, I'd suggest that you read through the Axe Guide first, it will be a much shorter use of your time in terms of giving your opinions, etc.

Btw on a real calc, does the notes sound like triangles like on Wabbitemu and Final Fantasy 1, or will they sound like squares like in Super Mario Bros 1?
What in the world do you mean?

Mhmm what do you mean by packed up? Are you moving soon or something? Glad to see there will be new lessons being posted soon, though
Oh, I mean that I've packed from college and am moving home for the summer

No new releases yet , but there will be one soon. I just wanted to let you guys know that having packed up my computer that had ASM Gorillas, it will take me about two weeks to get situated with it. So I'll be skipping lessons 13, 15, and 18 until I can get back to work on Gorillas. In other words, next lesson (I'm seriously hoping next week) will be 14, followed by 16.

With the coming of "The Tosonian War," I will make sure not to provide any spoilers for the game. The manual for the RTS version of S.A.D. will probably contain more information than I will list on this site. In other words, Seek and Destroy will assume that the player has played the Tosonian War.
Universe: Eralo
Star System: Eralo Population: 2 Billion Humans Diameter: 120,000 km Dominant Terrain: Wheat Fields (Natural Growth), Grasslands, Evergreen Forests Geography: One Continent and several islands Orbital Period: 2 Earth Years Rotation Period: 5 Earth Days Other Characteristics: A major trading center until the discovery of Sheol. Most scientific research for the Terran lifeforms is done at Eralo
Eralo is one of the ESEO's major military planets, both for producing and hosting fleets of ships and numerous ground forces. In fact, Eralo was THE major military planet for the Terrans until the start of the Tosonian War, during which Facnon gained importance.
Despite the military importance of Eralo, it is most famous for Sheol, a name given for a mysterious underground world. No one knows what lies below, except that no one who has entered has lived to tell the tale. The entrance cannot be destroyed with modern weapons, and in addition--for no apparent reason--the guards of the entrance keep disappearing. The ESEO has understandably given up trying to guard the entrance, so only disciplined military members can live in the city of Tarcia, which Sheol lies just outside of.
Eralo bears remarkable resemblance to the Tosonian planet Bronat. Tosonians, Humans and Ptaloids alike agree that this is pure coincidence. Only by viewing the terrain from at most 100 miles above the planet can one tell the difference, as Bronat contains mostly beaches and oceans.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, but the calculator doesn't seem to read values from my appvar called Human1. I know that my application variable has the values 17, 17 and 17 put together, but the calculator is not detecting this, probably because of something I'm doing wrong. Here's some crude code:
For(A,0,65333) Output(1,1,A->Dec) {A}->B {A+1}->C {A+2}->D If B=17 and C=17 and D=17 Disp 4999->Dec End End
The application variable is in RAM.

Looks nice! This map looks dynamic enough that it could be used in an RPG just as easily. =)
Maybe so. If I ever had time to do an RPG, it would be one about the story found in "Of Mankind, the Ptaloids, and the Tosonians. http://ourl.ca/4100/77593 The reason I chose not to do that for the Axe Parser contest is the game would require 100 levels

Here's the first map. Hopefully it won't take long to have the tilemap code, but I need to make adjustments to make it 16 x 16 tilemap code. I'm using 16 x 16 to allow bigger maps in a smaller amount of memory, although the ships will be eight by eight sprites.

Make sure in this game each races got their advantage/disadvantages too, to add some challenges and changes between all campaings That's not a bad idea, but will my entry in the contest be disqualified or graded off if I add suggestions from people into the game?

wow nice title screen and I like the dialog/mission briefing idea. In your game will you be able to play as any of the races?
Glad you like the dialog/mission briefing idea. It will certainly allow me to tell the story in-depth. And YES!! You will be able to play as any of the races. There will be three campaigns, with somewhere around eight missions each. Most of the time the races share similar units (and you'll find out why in the manual that comes with the game), but there will be some ships unique to each race.
