Looks pretty cool! Kudos.
I have a n00b question: I know when programming in C/C++, you can write screen data to a buffer before you send it to the screen, which increases frame rate and reduces flicker. Is there a way to do that in BASIC?

I knew he was a bit of a jerk (Nikky), but I never really knew the extent of it...

My plan is to set up my IDE so that you can compile and link your program (or your project, library, etc.) by simply pressing a key (probably F9). If you're interested in getting a general feel for what I'm attempting to make, download Dev C++ v4.9.9.2 ( www.bloodshed.net). It's interrface is very similar to what I'm shooting for...

Thank everyone! @Liazon: Good to see you! Yeah, the Cube - IDE (Formerly _asmDev IDE) is still in progress, but it's a side project right now. I think I'm gonna pick it up again soon, as it is going to be apart of my senior project for high school

@xlibman: When I get good enough, I might just give it a shot...Yeah, I'll be a ASM/BASIC god in an hour or two. Yup.

Hey all, I'm JincS from Calc Haven. But I'm not a calc programmer (yet). Nope. I'm a C/C++ programmer. But I'm learning ASM and BASIC, so yeah, that's all I have to say.

Finished checking: there was no real info on the 8xi format, other than it has "Two bytes with the number of bytes, which is a complete waste of RAM since it's always $02F4. Followed by a 96

Hey all! I'm working on a bitmap to .8xi converter module for a larger program I'm working on, but I'm having some troubles. Does anybody know where I can find some info on the TI84+SE PIC file format? I have been scouring the Internet for a few days, to no avail. I need to know how they're stored, bit order, pixel descriptions, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bumpage...
I give up: there hasen't been ANY activity over at Crooked Resistance forums since the middle of August, and there hasen't been an ounce of effort for anyone else to write an article (excluding BFR, who wrote a fairly decent programming article). Finally, I have very little time now that school has started up to work on these insignificant projects.
Therefore, I am closing the doors to Pero' Thacts/Crooked Resistance Magazine. If anybody would like to take over control, just PM me. First-come, first-serve.
You have 9 hours to contact me. If nobody does by then (9PM PST, 9/21/06), oh well.

CalcHaven, Rivereye, Cemetech, Onmimaga...I'm not very active at any of them anymore, since I don't really have the time except for in the wee hours of the morning when I should be preparing to go back to work... http://z14.invisionfree.com/CrookedResistance

Yay! Member #2! Whoopie! Don't worry about whether anything makes sense or not: it doesn't matter too much, so long as you can get the gist of the meaning out of the text.
