Halifax: Any support for namespaces? Namespaces + structures + functions = possibility for OOP using ANSI C... BTW, The assembler hasn't been worked on since the beginning of July->I got that roofing job, so I've been working 6-70 hours a week (6 days a week, which is why I really haven't been active all summer ). I'm hoping to find some time to finish/optimize it sometime soon, but I really can't say when it'll get done. Xlibman: A node is like a leaf on a tree->it's at the end of a tree branch **EDIT** Halifax: Which algorithm are you using for your tree sorting/searching? I haven't seen your source in quite some time...*hinthintwinkpokenudge*

C++ would be ideal for the speed, but you'd have to write alot of the sound manipulation code yourself (AKA lots of research on how it works).

In that case, 'nix the Audacity part, and replace it with a good PC pedal program (I don't know of any good ones though, so you might have to make your own ).

That's what I do with my desktop->Just buy an extra cable for your guitar (to run from the amp to the computer), and a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter for the cable (guitar cable to headphone cable size). Plug the adapter to the other end of the guitar cable from the amp, and plug the adapter into the microphone port on your compy. Then, DL Audacity (free sound editing software) and use it to record input from the mic. Gets pretty good quality of you set your guitar/amp/computer/recording volumes right And it only costs about $15.00 BTW Audacity will let you save the sound into mp3, ogg, wav, and a few other formats in any quality setting.

Hey all, I'm having some trouble figuring out what all of the entries in the tasm80.tab file are for (not the instructions, the layout itself). For example, at the top of the file, it says "INSTR ARGS OP BYTES RULE CLASS SHIFT OR" as the layout of the instruction entries. What I would like to know is what the RULES mean (NOP, ZIX, R1, and ZBIT), the CLASS, SHIFT, and the OR.
Could anyone explain these to me?
