As I was already interested in Calculator Gaming and programming Basic for half a year, I checked out diverse forums. By following the names of the autors of games, watching vid's on youtube I started to read on this forum. I already followed Calc84's projects for some weeks (maybe even months, don't rly remember) and I decided to join so I could add my useless comments and opinion's. That was somewhere at the beginning of June '09.
I was very active on the forums for a while and started some small basic projects, but never got further than 10% completion. As I was getting packed with work (summerjob + homework afterwards) I used my calc less for games and such and kinda lost interest. From a daily calc-user + games tester I want to a few-times-a-week-user, almost only for mathematical purposes. I still like to see the progress of some games and welcome all contributing new people (w/o you all, calc-programming would die at some point), but I'm not really too interested in it anymore.
When I got into different gaming clans/servers, my activity dropped to about a post a week or something..
EDIT: o wait, this was about how you found Omnimaga.. Oh well, there's my whole Omnimaga-lifetime in a few alinea's.

hey, if I agree with your post I can repeat again, right? Plus I was going in more details regarding game size/memory
Sure, I just thought you read over it :X

I already said that, like, one post ago q: EDIT; No wait, now it's 2 posts ago and yay, this is my 444th, finally EDIT2: It's prolly just me, but I don't see the offensive side off this. Then again, at least 2 others did.. So I'm off again.. Ciao

i dont want to have to upload each individual pic along with the main program when sending it to other people.
Working with pic's will be the fastest tho in pure basic. The solution for not having to send individual files equalz Grouping them after all code is done/all art is made. BTW, welcome here (:

I think those are all good explanations. The speed is probably the most major of those issues, but even when its not an issue, how many people have you seen carrying around headphones and plugging them into their calculators to play a game? Its pretty inconvenient in my opinion since it doesn't really add much to games that are already so limited in color and resolution, it hardly enhances the experience. I only added it to Pyoro because I thought it would be cool and I always wanted to try it. Yet I don't even own a pair of those headphones. I just spliced the link cable so I could bypass a speaker to it.
Axe will for sure have some type of ToneOut() command that will be like the pause command except play a frequency instead of doing nothing. But that's about all you can do since anything more elaborate really takes a toll on the processing speed. There is no hardware 'audio driver' so you must use software which makes it really slow.
Holy shit I played a game on my calc with sound w/o knowing it xd (and I do have 2.5mm phones here somewhere) Have to try it out soon. + the Toneout() cmd sounds like a cool feature

Grayscale? Same as i thought. But I don't rly want to bother KermM with asking for this.. I'll be happy with what it will become in the end anyways.

I know At the moment all my time is used for school AND playing on a GTA; SA server (not the German one anymore tho). I'm the supervisor now in some virtual RP bizz' on it xd.
I try not to put any games on my calc, that's one distraction less in class.
The only thing I can program myself is some text games (have some concepts in my head) but then again, nobody needs more of those, so I don't make any.
I'd like to make a new Omnimaga video soon tho.

Sadly enough, it is not completely bug-free I've seen it crash a couple o' times, but indeed, not very often.
Yeah, me too. But I guess some games are to be blamed for that too.. (don't mind my shitty English sentences, since I played for some months on a German server of some game, my English gets worse. And another factor is that I don't post too much anymore on forums like this.)

He's crammed with schoolwork (exams and endterms and stuff) so it won't come out too soon. He kinda still works on the UC3 tho, in his little spare time.

Don't feel like getting a PS3 as I can play most games I want on my computer, which I can also use for school.

In the TI community, as most people hate Micro$oft, it's typical for many people to hate any game with the Microsoft title on it. I love Microsoft Ö That reminds me, if anyone makes this for the TI-Nspire, I will buy it And I mean the OS, not the handheld case EDIT: I'm more happy if you make it for the TI84+
